U-HAUL

The people who loaded our stuff here in Texas were wonderful. But the unloaders at our destination, in Connecticut, left much to be desired.

UHAUL had the equipment that was reserved. The biggest problem was they were understaffed for a Saturday. Although I reserved a truck at a certain time, they were not ready for me at the designated time. Returning the truck, I had to wait in the parking lot as the employees took care of other returners. The people were not taking in order. I was skipped twice by other rentals that got there later than me. Then, after my return was checked and billed electronically in the parking lot, I had to go inside and again wait in a lengthy line just to get my receipt.

I like that I can reserve my truck online, so you know for sure that they have the size that you are looking for. Then when you get there, they are always very courteous, mind everything in detail. Then they give you the option of whether you want to keep your billing on a credit card you reserved in, or you want to use a different form of payment. And the same when you come back - if there is money left over that they need to refund, they offer to either give you the cash or to have it placed back on to your debit or credit card. Their pricing seemed pretty competitive.

We arrived at U-Haul, only to find that the truck we rented online a week earlier, was not there and to be told we were basically out of luck. After a little pressing, they offered to rent us the next larger size for the same price.
