At first things were going OK. We had told them ahead of time that they could only come on Wednesdays when there is someone home to lock the dogs in the house so they can have safe access to the backyard. This was not a problem. Then this month, a guy from TruGreen comes on a Thursday with no notice and leave a paper that he treated both front and back, which was impossible because the dogs were in the backyard and on top of that...there was no evidence (white pellets or sign in the yard) that he was in the backyard. I called to complain, rescheduled, but on the day..he text saying he was at the house and then text that the work was complete, but he never showed up at my house. Found out later, he went to the wrong house and treated their yard!!! Called to complain and resechduled and then that guy cancelled the appointment because it was too late in the day and didn't want to work anymore! The people who answer the phone can only re-schedule appointments and cannot resolve any issues. Service managers do not call back. HORRIBLE!!!!!

This treatment was not wanted or ordered. A year ago I worked out a deal with the service tech. comcerning the treatments for my yard. I had just comlpeted soding my yard. I have one acre so it took me a little time to get it all soded. The agreement was if I had the yard aerated and treated for fire ants he would give me a good size discount on the extra footage of the normal treatments ( weed killer, fertilizer etc ). This was a onetime deal, not a lifetime contract Trugreen claims.

Bad. Overspray of weed killer damaged tomato plants and flowers. They also raise their prices every year and fertilize every month which is not needed..

I had Tru Green service my lawn for about a year and a half in Rockwall, TX. Although I had some intermittent issues with them not responding to my service calls, I would say that overall the service was effective for the weed control, which was my primary problem with that lawn. This has not been the case with the company since I moved to North Richland Hills, TX. I feel as though I am only a customer to the billing department and the telephone operators. The service department has completely neglected my lawn. The weeds have taken over, and it's only March! I have called four times for a service call and they continue to not show up. They are supposed to come soon, but I have lost confidence.

They are very good.  They usually call before they come.  They take of my lawn considerably.  They also take care of my trees.  They come quarterly to spray for my trees and my trees are healthy now.  They charge me $96 for the lawn and when I have my trees done they charge me $205.  They take care of the shrubs around the house as well along with about fourteen cedar trees.

TruGreen was initially pretty good. We were pleased, but then some of the troubles with the weeds and the lawn returned. We had negotiated a price ahead of time, but then there was always more money that was needed. They kept calling saying they wanted to do things to the yard for extra cost. It was getting kinda frustrating. They do what they need to do, but we just decided to try another company. I would use them again, but I would make sure I read all the fine print.

They destroyed my yard, so I fired them. Now, I am trying to get the grass to grow back where they killed it. I cancelled their contract because the grass was dying. I didn’t like anything about them. I had spent a couple of thousand dollars to install some stuff and then they just ruined it. I don’t recommend them to anybody. I dislike everything about them. I travel a lot and that is one reason I had hired them. I don’t know if they showed up and did what they were supposed to do or what. All I ever got was a bill. Finally, I cancelled their service and they asked why, and I told them my yard was dying. If they were professional, they would have done something to please their customer.

We have been very happy with their service and our lawn. I'm sure our lawn would not look as good as it does without them.

The yard looked great as long as it was being treated. Over the winter season it, would come back again. I don't know if it's because of where I live. I will not use their services again. They keep calling me to get their business back. I feel they were a little expensive. If the treatment did not take they would do it again for free.

They are advertised in the area.  They tend to offer a reasonable price.  They provide reliable service.  They offer a wide variety of service, including fertilization, aeration, grub control, and most other lawn care services.  Punctuality is not an issue.
