The work took around 3 hours. The men had to go get parts. They completed the work and mother gave them the 20% off coupon (Senior Discount of 20%) which seemed to surprise them. One of the plumbers wrote "includes 20% discount" on the invoice and gave it to her. Mother wrote them a check for the full $750 amount. When I protested, the plumber suggested calling the office and speaking to the owner, which I did the following morning. She seemed like a nice person, and after a brief discussion, agreed to refund mother the 20%. Two days later, mother received the check for $150.
The owner remarked that the 20% should not be given on bid jobs and was going to get with their web designer to change the wording on the coupon.
Except for this glitch, they were pleasant and did what they said they were going to do.
