THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME FURNITURE

We wanted real wood furniture and stumbled upon this place. I should’ve left the moment the owner got snappy with us the first time but my husband wanted a particular table and entertainment center and this place was the only one we found something at. $3000 later we were told items would be in 2-4 weeks at the very latest. I called for update and was told they’d be here when they came. 6 weeks later they were delivered. If the delay and the rude owner were not enough, one of sliders for the drawers was bent and we were told they would order a new piece. Which meant another 6 weeks of waiting. Owners husband comes to install that and not only does the drawer not aline, he cracked the wood on the drawer when trying to install slider. the drawer doesn’t line up when closed and the guy tells us to just use it as is, it’s close. I called the owner Jackie who says most people accept that it will take time for the drawer to align but people like you need it to be perfect. Followed by sighs and her failure to mute her phone when she turned to someone else and says “these people “ like it’s my fault the drawers don’t line up or that they are cracked because of faulty insulation. No apologies. No offers to fix. Just continued to be talked down to, spoken over. will never do business with store and suggest no one else does either!

Sue is one of the designers at this showroom that I had been referred to. She came to my home and spent her time gathering information on what I wanted, and on the exact layout of each space. Within a few days she had put together 4 rooms, from the rugs and furniture to the artwork accessories and lamps. I was amazed at the beautiful way each item played off the other. My dream house had morphed into my dream “home”. I found that my budget easily covered my desires for the furnishings This home called for. Sue took into consideration my need for “pet friendly” sofas, and furniture that would last me a long long time. I was so happy with the end result and I come home each day to a beautifully decorated home that meets more than my expectations. I highly recommend There’s no place like home furniture.

Went great. I believe I saved over $5000 furnishing 2 bedrooms.... dining and living area. I did not need to go anywhere else... We purchased rugs, chandeliers, furniture, mattresses, bedding, artwork...All great quality, speedy delivery and was given star treatment by the sales staff AS WELL AS THE DELIVERY TEAM!

It went fine. The lady was very helpful. The only thing I didn't like was you can't actually see the furniture because you're ordering out of a catalog. They have a store front but mainly what you do is you go in and they try to help you. They ask you price point and then they really lead you to a catalog and you pick out something that you like. I thought the prices were reasonable. The furniture was fine. There was something on the furniture and they sent people out to take care of it and it wasn't anything major. They were very prompt about that. I thought they were reasonable.

My husband and I had been shopping for a bedroom suite at several furniture stores in the metroplex. I was not satisfied with the selection I was finding until we happened upon this unique store near downtown Fort Worth. We were actually in the area for dinner when we walked by the amazing furniture pieces showcased in the front windows which prompted us inside. We were greeted by their store dog, Toby, who ran up with a squeaky toy in his mouth and dropped it at my husbands feet! Walking thru this shop, we were amazed at the unique offerings they had displayed in the showroom. We told Sue, our sales person/designer, what we were hunting for and she gave us several catalogs to look thru, based on the style I was describing to her. We were told to write down the item #'s of the ones we liked. In the Legacy Classic catalog I found the bedroom I had been searching for and we called Sue over. She looked up the prices and I was completely shocked with the quote, as it was half what I thought it would be. She read the construction details and then pulled up a large image of the bed on her computer. This was the Glen Cove series in a distressed cream finish. We decided on the King size bed, a bedside table, a night stand, dresser, mirror and lingerie chest. We were told that the pieces would arrive in 4-6 weeks but we were notified in 3 weeks that all had come in. We were in the middle of painting our room and were not ready for the furniture pieces. We were advised to call when we were ready for delivery. Once the furniture arrived, we were so pleased with the look, the quality, and the price that my husband and I both have referred several people to this great shop. If you are in need of furniture, this is the place to go! The choices are unbelievable, the prices unbeatable, and the staff were so friendly (including Toby) that it was truly a pleasure doing business here!

It was a unique experience and I spent a lot of time going to different stores. It's really like going home when I went there. The employees were great and I enjoyed working with them.

We were greeted by an associate that explained how the operation works....you tell them what you are in need of and they start laying out catalogs with the style of furniture you need. Because the choices are so endless, it does get a bit overwhelming. We spotted a Pulaski catalog and knew there was a set from that mfg we really liked. They logged onto a computer and pulled up a picture of the set from Pulaski's website so we could see it in greater detail than was shown in the catalog. This website also had construction details and warranty information. But we still browsed thru a few more catalogs, but kept going back to the Pulaski set. When we had settled on this one, we were offered a glass of wine and there were trays of hors d'eouvres in different areas of the store we invited ourselves to enjoy. The purchase was completed and I mentioned we would also be needing furniture for our dining room, so a few more catalogs were set in front of me that had dining room furniture in the same style as the bedroom set we had purchased. We told them we did not have anymore time that day and would be back in once the bedroom set had been delivered. We recieved this set yesterday afternoon and the 2 delivery men were fast and set the furniture up where I asked them to. We are heading back today to start the dining room process! This is a relaxing way to furnish your home....and the savings are phenominal. Again, don't be in a hurry to purchase a piece of furniture that you can bring home that day....the orders are placed with the mfg and do take a while to arrive. We were told that our furniture would arrive in 4-6 weeks, and it took the full 6 weeks but we were prepared so it didn't cause any grief. The only down side of the entire experience was that they seem to be understaffed....my sales person had to keep leaving me to greet other customers. But this actually gave me time to think about the purchase without influence from a sales person. At one point, my husband was invited to try out a massage chair that went thru a 15 or 20 minute series of massage, which put him down for a while....during this time I choose the 3 top bedroom sets and when he arose from the massage, I let him pick from those 3. I appreciate the choices I have to furnish our new home and again, the savings are an added bonus. I have told family members and co-workers about this store and thought I would go "public" on Angie's List!
