Superior Construction

Jerry had left a flyer on our door after the storm. We had roof and fence damage and his flyer described him as someone with 19 years of experience and specializing in Roofing, Siding, Fencing and Concrete. On the telephone, Jerry seemed very knowledgeable, very laid back & easy going, and very experienced (he ended up being all that and more). Jerry came to our house after finishing another house one evening, he inspected our damage, and offered us many different Shingle Warranties, Shingle Brands and Shingle Colors (no other company gave us nearly as many options). He gave us an approximate quote but said he would return the next day with a written contract with everything on it. He came back the next day (after finishing another project) with a contract pretty much matching our earlier discussion for the roof replacement and fence repair (the roof was $100 more because we added turbines and turtle vents while the fence went down $200). Jerry answered all of our questions and totally put our minds at ease regarding everything. His price on both projects were less than or at least equal to other quotes but he offered so much more. We got the upgraded 30 year Warranty Shingles & turbines and turtle vents for other company's 25 year and no vents. After we decided on using his company, he asked us to pay 50% down for roofing materials. I, honestly, didn't neccessarily want to do that because none of the other "big companies" told us they did that. But, Jerry just seemed so genuine. He's just a small business man that knows what he's doing....he doesn't promise what he can't deliver but he definitely gave us more than anyone else did. We wrote the check to Superior Construction (as he told us to do) on a Thursday and he didn't even deposit it in his bank until the following Monday, the day before he bought the materials he needed (again, he was totally honest with us about what he was spending the money on). He was supposed to come earlier in the week, but the rain delayed him until Friday morning. He called numerous times during the week to let us know when he'd be coming and if we had any further problems with the old roof leaking during the rain, he offered to patch it for us while we were waiting for the rains to stop. He showed up this morning with his crew around 8am. He told us the shingles we picked out were a little more expensive this week than last week, but that was his issue, not ours since we had a signed contract together (again, he is really honest and trustworthy). They were done with our roof around 2pm (his cleanup includes using a magnetic tool all over the yard looking for extra nails). He painted all the vents and pipes to match the roof color also. Jerry is coming back next week to put up our new fence. We then plan on using him for siding and a patio cover in the future along with maybe pouring a pool for us. We would definitely recommend him and will be happy to answer any questions about him and his service.
