Rob and his team did an excellent job.

He is very, very good. He repaired a granite countertop. It was not something he did wrong, houses in Texas shift and the sealer was coming out in one area. It cost nothing. In August 2014, he remodeled our whole kitchen, new countertops, new cabinets, new light fixtures, painted the dining room, took the popcorn ceiling off and redid the ceiling in the dining room, kitchen and entrance hall. In the laundry room, he redid the cabinets. We had four estimates and he was the best price, the most reasonable. The workers were very professional, very friendly, very caring about the property and stuff and very conscientious.

Great! Rob is incredible! Honest, diligent, dependable and very professional. We have used him several times and prefer to use him over others. He has painted our entire home on the outside and some on the inside. He has done remodel work for us in bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen. Repaired and replaced our entire wood front porch and did a fabulous job! I appreciate the fact that he is willing to do large or small jobs. We even called him when our water heater broke and flooded our carpets.....he sent someone to help us right away and later came cack to repair all the water damage. He is great! We are so glad we are aware of him!

Spivey was great. Our dual mailbox broke, and we weren't able to find the part anywhere. Spivey found it from one vendor, drove an hour out of the way to go get it, came and got it fixed in the timeframe he quoted. All around he has done several jobs for us, and his honesty, timeliness, and craftsmanship are the reason we continue to use him and will continue in the future.

They fixed some walls and things. They did some general handy work around the place. They were here six months ago, we had a variety of things that needed to be done. They charged around a thousand dollars. They did some drywall repairs and some cabinetry. This was the first time that I was using them. We were very satisfied, they were fast. We had some pretty major repairs and they did them very well, we were all satisfied. They were real good with the cleanup, you couldn't even tell they were there. We had repairs to a cabinet in our bathroom and there was also a wall in our garage that got torn up. They put plastic down, they were very, very conscientious about vacuuming and things like that. They are definitely an 'A'. Their prices were competitive as well. I would use them again.

Rob has done a number of projects for us over the course of the last year, and this was the largest. Every aspect of the work is always excellent. He is very good about estimating, designing, and executing all aspects of general remodeling and handyman work. I haven't found anything yet that he cannot do. This was a project that required some creativity to redesign the layout of the room, and his insight from the beginning was very valuable. There was a lot of unknowns about how best to tackle the project, and at every step Rob was great to work with. The home in which the work has been done is a weekend home for us on the lake, and Rob worked around our schedule, and I trust him fully with access to the house without any supervision. His professionalism is top notch and I would not hesitate to use him for any project, large or small.

All the projects he has done for me have been extremely successful. This man is so high in integrity and character. He is extremely honest and willing to give us tips to help us save money. He is the only one I will ever let touch my house ever again. In this project, he has done a great job in remodeling the kitchen. Mr. Spivey is always checking on his crew and makes sure that they are doing what I want. I trust anyone that he trusts. Everyone that he hires are artisans and I trust their taste. I found him on Angie's List.

Totally satisfied with quality of work. Rob even added an extra ground rod at barn at my request due to the damage being precipitated by lightning strike. His electrician took great care adding a whole house surge protector. Rob is a true contractor, he has sources for plumbers, electricians, concrete etc.

I havn't seen his level of professionalism and integrity in a long time. Rob was so impressive, that we didn't bother to call anyone else. He is so knowledgeable, so efficient. He sent a crew of five out that showed up early, and worked hard all day.

In two days they had stripped the wallpaper from the bathrooms, stripped the floors, applied the Redguard, replaced parts of the ceiling, and even re-textured the bathroom.

Our tile guy Bruce came out next. He helped us choose our grout, and tile. We requested a diagonal pattern, which was no trouble for him.

We are having them out very soon in the future.

We had a great experience with Spivey Contruction. I contacted Rob after seeing the company listed on Angie's List. He wrote me back immediately and was at our house to give an estimate within days. Rob always followed up and contacted us when he said he would. The team did a great job on our ceiling. It looks good as new!

They were professional, on time and the work was quality work. We will hire them again for future projects.

They did it all in one day and we were very pleased with the work. They matched the well texture perfectly.

This process was absolutely wonderful!
Rob got back with me the same day I called about a possible estimate. He was able to come out the next day to review the damage and worked around my schedule to meet; he was very personable, knowledgeable, and professional. He provided an extremely competitive estimate to me that evening and all things were a go.
Since it is difficult for me to take off work, he had a crew come out on a Saturday to do all the patchwork and retexturing which took around 3-4 hours. They were very respectful of our home and were diligent in getting in, getting the job done, and cleaning up afterwards. Then that Monday he had Dan come out after 5:00 pm (which again worked great for me) and do all the painting which took around 2-3 hours.
They paid extra attention to all the painting, but it was amazing to see the effort they put in to fading the paint on the ceiling from the affected area to the rest of the ceiling. Rob said in the beginning that they would first try this method, as opposed to painting the entire ceiling, to save us on cost. Well, Dan must be an artist because, there is no possible distinction between our one wall that was painted, as well as the affected area of the ceiling and the rest of the living room.
We will be doing future work with Spivey.

Over the last year, several of the windows and doors in our home have leaked during rainstorms. The water leakage damaged interior plaster and paint work around the window frames/sills and degraded the door thresholds. We contracted with Spivey Construction, LLC to repair the damage and correct the problems. Rob Spivey and his crew arrived promptly and provided us with excellent service at a very reasonable price. The repairs took place over a two-day period to allow for the plaster to dry and wood surfaces to be re-painted. Rob communicates well and followed up personally with us after the repairs were completed to ensure a high-quality outcome. Overall, we were very pleased with the work done by Spivey Construction. We plan to use them again for other home improvements in the near future.
