Southern Moving

Our belongings were supposed to be delivered and unloaded in Midland, Texas on Monday, September 2nd. They didn't show up, so I called the rep and he told me they were on their way and should be there after lunch. I called back at approximately 2 PM and he said they ran into bad storms and should be arriving by 4. When I called after 4, he said they would be there by 6. When I asked if they  had actually left Fort Worht he said yes. I told him to just have them show up at 8 AM sharp the next morning. They finally showed up at about 8:30. One of the workers actually slipped and mentioned that they didn't actually head our way from Fort Worth until early that morning. I was basically being lied to all day the day before. When I confronted the rep I had been communicating with and asked for an adjustment he only knocked off about $200 and that was because there were several large items that we decided to not move after he had done his quoted price. He said he couldn't knock any money off because of their being a day late for delivery. He admitted that it was mostly his fault because he failed to remember that September 2nd was Labor Day and their employees normally had the holiday off. Not my problem. I asked him to have the owner call me to discuss. He said he would. I never received a call.
