Service Squad Plumbing, specifically Jakeob and Nathan are rockstars. This was a big job at a single-family home on a slab that needed the cast iron pipes replaced under the slab. From day one, Jakeob did a great job giving the initial assessment and explaining the options that were available for the circumstances. A few plumbing companies were contacted for estimates but Service Squad Plumbing, Jakeob, did the best job communicating what needed to be done. The great communication continued throughout the process while the work was being done. The job was completed within the estimated time frame that was initially given. Jakeob and Nathan kept it professional the whole time as they fought against the Texas weather. There were so many days of rain during this project, it was constant battle against the rain entering the tunnels under the slab, the steamy sauna feeling of the air when the sun would come out and the swarm of mosquitoes that apparently also enjoyed the tunnels. They did a great job and I’ll be contacting them again if I have any future plumbing needs.

Honest and great at their craft - I cannot recommend Service Squad more highly! We had multiple quotes from other plumbers saying we needed extensive work (almost $10k) to address our issue. We were skeptical and saw Service Squad has a great reputation so gave them a call, and I'm so glad we did. They were honest and transparent and were able to solve the issue right away! They knew every other company quoted us a huge job but still solved it as affordably and quickly and possible. They gained my trust with that, and I will always use them going forward.

I called them out to replace a hose bib that was older and tended to drip a bit. They came out and told me that it was tied directly to the water main with galvanized pipe and they would have to replace that whole part. They also send a had a leak. Keep in mind, I’d had no issues with any plumbing or leaks prior to their arrival. They leave and I turn on the water at the street (they had shut it off) and the meter is spinning very fast - indicating a major issue. I went and explored and found a pool of water, once I drained the water I found a dime sized hole in a pipe tied to the water main. I tried calling the company as well as the technician, left messages and texts, and no one got back to me. So now my family and I are without water and I had to get another company to come out on a Friday evening to diagnose the issue and schedule a repair. These guys are either incompetent or unethical. I do not fault them for creating the hole - the pipe was old and it happens - but to completely bail and not answer calls is insane. Picture 1 - that is the amount of water that accumulated in the 3 minutes I had the water on. Picture 2 is after I drained the water and looked at the pipe.

Very thorough

We had a very difficult plumbing leak, under sidewalk. Daniel tried to take care of the problem, trying less expensive fix first. When that failed, he told me how much fix would be and he solved our problem with least expensive optition. He did a great job for us. Would hire again and/or recommend him.

The plumber had to remove 3 toilets and do extensive testing, He managed to remove all 3 toilets without making a mess! I have never seen that in a plumber!!
