He has a minimum price of $350. We really like him and give him an A. I think the price is reasonable and they clean up well.

He only deals with tress so he knows what to recommend and exactly how to care for each kind.

It went perfect.  Rusty is not only price competitive, he was professional, punctual, and a true arborist, so he knows his stuff!  Would highly recommend him, and plan on using Save-A-Tree in the future as needed.

Excellent Response Time; Fair Quote; Timely, Professional, and Personalized Service. Rusty oversaw / participated in the project at 3 key time points and everything was completed, within 3/4 of a day, to complete satisfaction. This is the 4th time we utilized Save A Tree and the results are always excellent! Save A Tree planted a tree (Red Oak) for us several years ago, after removing a tree ... the tree is healthy and growing fast to nice sized shade tree. I can only recommend this company!

Arrive on the day and time Rusty told me even though there was heavy rain that morning. The crew quickly trimmed the trees then cleaned up the debris. Overall great job by a group of professionals.

Rusty and his crew have been helping with tree trimming, maintenance and removal services of trees and bushes at my house for several years. Not only are they always on time, they never charge more than they quote, they are insured and bonded, careful about safety, they clean up when they are done, and they are the most conscientious company I have ever worked with on tree trimming. Rusty does not like to "kill" any trees or take down branches unnecessarily. He will do what he can to save trees and save YOU money.

Rusty arrived for the estimate promptly. I had gotten about four other bids, but II thought Rusty was the most knowledgable of the group. I got a good vibe from talking to him, and his price was quite reasonable, so I selected him for the job. I notified him late on a Friday and he scheduled me for the Tuesday after the following week. I was really pleased when the work was done. Everything we'd talked about was done the way he said he would, and he even trimmed up the trees with dead wood better than I had expected. Also, they didn't leave a single branch or twig for me to clean up. Best tree-trimming I've ever had!

Rusty is very professional and extremely polite. I was really surprised at how little mess there was after cutting down a sick Bradford pear tree that was in full bloom. I thought the price was fair considering how much work they accomplished in a short amount of time. You get what you pay for and this was definitely worth every penny. I would highly recommend Save a Tree.

Went great. Rusty was very responsive as I ended up calling him 3 different times! Punctual, even showed up early one time and called to let me know he was on his way. Something I always appreciate.

Rusty promptly came out and gave us an estimate that I thought was really fair for cutting down 5 tall Post Oak trees and trimming the remaining 12 or so trees. The guys were a joy to watch, climbing the trees and making it possible for sun to finally hit the yard so that grass would grow. Rusty is a professional Arborist and knows trees, not wanting to do anything that would not be good for the trees. They cleaned up after the job like nothing had taken place, taking away all the cut trees and the debris from the trimming. They did an awesome job and I would surely use him again if a need arose.

I received an estimate on the work very quickly and it was scheduled. Calls were returned promptly. The crew showed up when they said they would and performed the job as bid. I am completely satisfied and have recommended the firm to friends. I would definitely use again, should the need arise.
Rusty is a very knowledgeable tree man, and he and his crews are complete pros.

I have seen Rusty's company trucks in my neighborhood and asked one of the workers for a business card. Rusty came out and gave us an estimate. We called and scheduled to have the work done and about a week later, Rusty and his crew arrived on time. He said it would take half the day and it did. This isn't a guy hanging from a rope with a chain saw hanging around his neck. This is a professional crew who work quickly and efficiently. Rusty recommended we have the trees trimmed again in two years. I have already recommended Save a Tree to a friend and will continue to recommend them in the future.

Rusty has done quality work for me before and that is why I hired him again. I didn't even bother getting a estimate from anybody else because I knew that Rusty would be fair in his price and he does such great work. Rusty is an artist when it comes to trimming trees. I wouldn't use anybody else but Save A Tree.

Rusty was perfect! Very responsive, and was early for the estimate and the actual job. He and his crew trimmed, cabled and fertilized our gigantic magnolia tree in about four hours. He was also really helpful about recommending what we do with limbs we had been thinking about cutting off entirely. He was a personable, professional guy. Will definitely recommend to our neighbors, and we will use him again.

I did not get Save-A-Tree from Angie's list but wanted to add feedback for others to see. I actually saw their truck on the highway and remembered I had a tree stump I really wanted taken care of in the front of the house. I called and they were very helpful and quoted me a price on the phone based on my need. They came out within a week and my stump was ground down and looks great! Price quoted is what I paid. Very pleased. They were very professional and friendly. Would highly recommend for this service.

I used Save A Tree about 3 or 4years ago to trim two large Cedar Elm trees. They both needed some thinning out so I called Rusty again to have him do the work. He and his crew are always professional, do the job and clean everything up before leaving. I would highly recommend him. He knows trees.

Rusty and his crew (six men total) showed up right on time and began work immediately. Rusty reviewed with me the job we discussed previously and did a brief walk around the property to confirm what would be done. He and two other "climbers" got up in the trees, using ropes and harnesses like mountain climbers, repelling from limb to limb, pruning and shaping the trees, while preserving their natural growth habit. The other men on the ground were busy picking up the branches while one used a power pole saw to remove low hanging limbs above the roof. All were extremely careful to avoid any damage to the roof or other parts of the buildings as well as the landscape beds around the house. The crew worked literally non-stop with the exception of a brief lunch break. Rusty was everywhere, in the trees, walking around checking everything, looking at the trees from the ground, removing a small limb here and there to shape the trees and create a balanced look, and directing his crew as necessary. He never stopped or sat down except to eat lunch. He quoted a total of 1.5 days to do the job -- one day for pruning the trees around the house and a half day for clearing the underbrush. The pruning of the trees around the house took slightly less than a day, but he used the extra time to do some other areas that weren't included in the bid, so I got a full day's worth. The next half day was used to clear the underbrush and clean up all the debris and cut up the larger limbs for firewood. The crew picked up all the limbs, raked up all the small twigs and loaded up everything and hauled it away. He actually worked almost 6 hours the second day and did a complete walk around with me to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. Since the trees were dormant (no leaves), he said that when the leaves came out this spring, if they missed any dead wood, he would come back and remove it at no cost. All in all, I was extremely satisfied with the job. He was more than fair, making sure that he did the job as quoted. He included things not in the original bid at no cost to make sure we got our money's worth. He was very professional in every way and it was a pleasure to work with a contractor of his caliber. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a professional, certified arborist to maintain their trees.
