REMODELING IS VERY HECTIC AND MESSY (ESPECIALLY WHEN WORKING AROUND PETS), BUT IT WENT SMOOTHLY. WORKERS CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. WORKERS WERE PROFESSIONAL, HARD WORKING AND HELPFUL.

Mr. Ramsey came to our house and discussed the work with us. He was very professional and personable. He said he had just the right outfit to perform the necessary work and arranged for Bransom Floors to handle it. As the general contractor, Mr. Ramsey relied upon his subcontractor to perform the work properly, but gave us his contact information in case we had any questions or complaints. As it turned out, we did not need to worry because the subcontractor (Bransom Floors) was excellent.

Overall it was a good experience, felt that they were responsive to a fair extent. However the projects took much longer than anticipated.

Gordon Ramsey's superintendant came at the scheduled time with a crew of 3 men. The superintendant then left for another job, and didn't return until the work was finished. Although the work crew was professional and did a good job, they didn't really speak english so I just stayed out of their way. When the superintendant returned, he was anxious to wrap things up quickly, and I had to press him to finish the detail work (like patching a hole in the roof where they had removed a vent pipe). I was very impressed by the skill of the work crew. It was evident that they had done a lot of framing work. However I subsequently discovered several braces/hangers in the attic that they had cut and not repaired. I think this was probably a small job for them and they had subcontracted it out. Unfortunately, the nature of the business is to get in and get out quickly and not to let the scope of the job "creep". Rightly or wrongly, I would have preferred a little more communication and that they had tied up their loose ends a little better. I believe the price I paid was fair.

He is on time and gets the work done. He gets all of the permits taken care of and has great communication. If you call him, he gets right back to you as well. His assistant is just as friendly and efficient as well.
