I asked Ramon Roofing to quote me for replacing some mismatched concrete tiles on my roof. They came, inspected the roof, and counted 25 mismatched tiles. When they finished the job, they left some of the mismatched tiles, claiming there were more than 25 tiles. So they used some of the existing mismatched tiles to fix my mismatched roof; now, my insurance company won’t insure my entire roof, seeing the mess Ramon Roofing left behind.

We were very happy with the quality of work we received from Ramon Roofing.  After a severe windstorm caused damage to our roof, the insurance company told us we needed all of the shingles replaced.  The first roofer we spoke to, ironically recommended by my neighbor's insurance company, actually told us how to avoid paying our deductible by committing insurance fraud.  That was a huge red flag, we didn't want a dishonest roofer working on our home.

After looking on the North Texas Roofing Contractor's Association and Angie's List, we narrowed down our list of possible companies and went with Ramon Roofing.  Seth came out to our house and was on time, even early, for the appointments.

I gave Ramon Roofing an "A" rating on everything except for price only because their price may be a bit high.  My insurance company thinks our roof should have cost $7000.   But in our opinion you get what you pay for and we wanted a roof we knew would be put on right by a reputable company.

We have all new shingles and  vents and the roof looks great!  Since installation we've had a couple more severe storms with wind, small hail, and lots of rain and have not had one problem with the new roof.

When the salesman described how much work had to be done to repair a few tiles and patch some holes around the perimeter of the roof, it sounded like a lot. A full-day job, perhaps. He quoted me $1,525 for the job, which sounded okay, considering what I thought was the size of the job. Two men came a week or two later and took all of about two hours maximum to complete the work??four man-hours total."Our men work fast," the salesman said later. In hindsight, I would never have hired this company, or agreed to that price, knowing what I know now??$1,525 for four hours of work was outrageous.

We've used Ramon Roofing several times in the past to repair/replace roof tiles damaged due to wind/hail. We asked them to come out and look at some minor damage sustained in a spring wind storm.  The representative walked me around the house and pointed out the minor damage. Then we noticed that a portion of the roof was sagging. He went ion to the attic to perform a thorough inspection and pointed out the potential for future problems. Basically we needed to rebuild a dormer to avoid future collapse; a defect that was present since the roof was constructed [not by Ramon]. He called his foreman to come take a look and we agreed begin work the next day. The workers were efficient and unobtrusive and repair was completed in one day as promised. the yard and driveway was cleaned up as if they were never there. I felt like the price was a bit high, but these days I'm willing to pay a little more for good quality and service. Will use Ramon in the future, hopefully not in the near future.

They worked with us from initial estimates, worked with our insurance carrier to get a reasonable estimate, The work was started on time and was completed in less time than was estimated in the beginning. The crew was very responsive to questions and worked without fail at 100+. While it hasn't rained since completion the job appears to be just what we had anticipated. The crew cleaned up dilligently each day and were very thorough at the end. I picked this vendor after watching this contractor do the roof on a neighbor's house.
