Started off good, fast workers, removed entire roof, re-framed roof, re-decked and shingles. In the process they stepped through my ceiling 4 times and damaged a new outside AC unit. My ceilings are not repaired ( just rough patched). I added a 400 sf media room with a 400 sf loft area, a 320 sf patio,they finished the home with T 1-11 siding. By week number 3 with most of the money drawn on the job, work slowed noticeably down, there were a few days that no one showed up to do any work, (although their trucks were left parked in my yard over night). There is trim missing from the soffit, gaps in wood joints, poor caulking prior to painting. Today while I was out of town working they showed up to paint house, there is over spray everywhere, it looks like a paint job done on a Saturday and everyone was in a hurry to get off of work. The color they painted the trim does not match the shutters, in fact it is red and the shutters are maroon but he was sure to get his last draw on the work before I got home. I am contacting my attorneys to file suit against Raphael Alvarez ... Never hire anyone from Angie's List, and for certain never hire Alvarez Construction

He is fantastic. He does everything but electrical.  He has someone else to do the electrical.  He is going to do a fence for me.   He redid my whole house. He knocked out walls, put in doors, redid my kitchen, he did baseboards and crown molding.  He is really good at that.  He did window spraying trim and door trim.  He redid the siding of my house as well and a lot of stuff.  He is coming to fix my eaves and I don’t use anybody else. I am thrilled that I found him.  He is very honest and I trust him totally.  I put off stuff getting done but now I don’t worry having him in the house.  He is really a nice guy and everybody likes him.  He does very good work at a very good price.  I use him for everything and that’s the best indicator.  I don’t use anybody else and all my friends also started using him after I started.  It was a big deal to trust him because I was so distrustful of anyone.
