PetSmart North Ft Worth - Alliance

Had a prescription in hand from an animal hospital to get special food so our dog could eat..they were out of the brand at the hospital..Petsmart told me I had to go to their Banfield vet to get permission before they would sell me the food..I had a prescription in hand. Knocked on the Banfield door and the lady just sat at the desk and did nothing, never coming to the door. So my dog suffered another night without get the food she needed.

We have taken our dog to Petsmart North Ft Worth Alliance for grooming every 6 weeks since we adopted him over 3 years ago. Since they are a chain store, I was not sure if the quality and consistency would be as good as other places. However, I have been extremely happy with their service. They are very friendly and the grooming staff seems to truly love dogs and what they are doing. We often see some of the same groomers on different visits which is good (there are usually around 6 groomers working at any given time). They are always very busy, especially on weekends, but seem to keep everything under control. I like that the grooming area is behind clear windows so people in the store can always see what's going on as dogs are getting groomed. Their grooming hours are very convenient for people who work full time. They open early and close late 7 days a week.

The quality of service was good.

The veterinarian was responsive and the helpers were timely. They did talk about ordering tests and keeping my animal in ICU and doing extra x-rays that we finally said no we wouldn't do. We had them give him the antibiotic they would have given him in the ICU and we took our animal home. Our dog recovered and was fine. They also wanted to sell us an every day, ongoing medical care and that was probably not the best time to do it.

They have good follow up and took great care of my dog.
