Paul's Custom Floors

My experience wasn't positive in regards to communications and timeliness. It took six weeks to finish my job, something that's normally four days to a week. I couldn't use my garage during this time and the items I keep there were stored elsewhere in my home. The owner would state he'd be here on a specific date and time and then no-show without notice or short notice. My attempts to reach him via phone call or text were ignored frequently. At one point, I had to contact one of his family member's to get him to call me. He did have a family member that got ill during that timeframe but my belief is this was not the root cause for his delay. The end state looks nice but the grief I endured while he delayed for unknown reasons accounts for the low rating.

Horrible job from start to finish. More interested in getting money up front than doing a quality job. Never showed up when he said he would. Did not properly prep the concrete. Totally botched the whole job including the seal coat and have pictures to prove it. Stuck with a mess that will have to be ground off in order to start over.... DO NOT USE!

He explained his work as high quality any problems just call I have text for since March 28th 16 times heard excuse after excuse we really don't use our garage unless their is a hail storm used once spot pulled up he has not come back or fixed just wanted quality work and it repaired but heard excuses since March

We had a custom epoxy garage floor done. Standard 2 car garage with a custom mix of colors. Paul and his crew were incredible to work with. Punctual, professional and friendly. They work quickly to get the floor done and left the site spotless! First day consisted of them coming in and prepping the floor, grinding, and patching and ending with a primer coat. Second day consisted of them custom mixing and applying the flooring colors. Third and final day consisted of them sanding, cleaning and applying the final clear epoxy coats. I would highly recommend Paul's Custom Floor for any epoxy work you want done.

We found a very artistic design on the internet of a multi-colored metallic epoxy of blue and green. We showed what we wanted to Paul from a YouTube video. He knew exactly what to do and what materials to use. The entire process started a day or two after the selections were made. The epoxy process is a multi-day process. You're also going to have to previously clean out all your garage junk so there is an clear and empty room to be epoxied. The process is described below. Day 1 First, the floor must be prepared by diamond grinding the surface to make it rough for the epoxy to form a sturdy bond. Next the floor is repaired with cracks filled and holes repaired. (This step is really stinks) Day 2 Next the floor is primed. Our priming was in black because of our final colors. The primer then dries overnight. Day 3 The epoxy is then put down on the floor. Ours was metallic epoxy with a blue base coat with great streaks and then swirled to look like a piece of art. I lost my garage to become an art studio/garage. Day 4 Clear coat sealer is applied. (This step really stinks too) Days 5-12 Curing. The epoxy can be walked on after the first day but needs to cure for a good 5 to 7 days. Paul is great to work with and you will not be disappointed in his work. He is very punctual as once the process starts they have to complete it in the subsequent days.

Paul is a very nice young man who was very cordial throughout this whole process. He and Tristen , his assistant, worked h****** each step of the job. First, they diamond ground the existing floor and repaired any gouges, cracks or holes in the floor. The floor was then cleaned throughly and left for the filler to dry over night. Second day they applied a base coat of my choice and let that dry over night. Third day a top coat was applied and paint chips, again of my choice, were evenly distributed. Once again, this step had to dry over night. Fourth day a clear finish coat was applied. That was today. We can walk on the floor tomorrow but cannot park our cars for 5 to 7 days. We have a three year warrenty on the finished job so, hopefully it will hold up well.

When smoothly and Paul did an excellent job. They are beautiful floors for the garage.
