The technician arrived on time, assessed my problem, explained it to me and fixed the washer. The charge was reasonable for the service. I would use Oliver Dyer again.

Their prices stands out. We've purchased from them before and this time around we weren't real happy with the sales person. He didn't have the information ready for the refrigerator when the guys delivered it. They didn't have the water filter in it where it should have had it and several other things. It took them a complete day to come back out and do that. They guys that came out and delivered it didn't set up the ice maker and things like that. We had to call them back out again so we were very disappointed for that part.

They're very nice and you don't have to wait very long. I called them one morning and they sent somebody that afternoon. They can usually get somebody out. It's not like you have to wait a week or anything. The last time the guy was out here, he moved the dryer over a little bit for me so I could get my trash can in there. They were here on time. In fact, one time, they were a little bit early. They're very friendly guys. I'd probably use them again.
Description of Work: They came out and worked on my washer. They cleaned the drain. He reset the computer thing in it.

My old compactor had been in the house since it was built. I couldn't remove it. Do check with the flooring contractor to be sure he does not place tile against the compactor. Installer worked very hard to remove the old unit. New compactor went in quick and works perfect,.

Called for warranty service on eight month old Frigidaire refrigerator. I called after calling Frigidaires 800 number and they were referred as an authorized warranty repair service company. I was told very rudely by the woman who answered that "they only service what they sell". When I asked then why are they referring to you she replied in the same tone she had no idea why they would. I'm not sure whether Frigidaire is to blame or Dyers. Either way it must be nice to turn away business.

Received a great price on washer and dryer. Delivered on time and installed by employee of Oliver Dyer's. The installer also removed old washer and dryer and took them with him when he left. The job was done to our satisfaction and the installer was very professional. We are planning on buying a new refrigerator / freezer when it goes on sale again. We were extremely pleased with their service and professionalism.

I don't remember the date, so in the window above, I guessed. The oven worked okay, of course, on the day the repairman came, but he gave me a rain check that was for a couple of weeks, if I remember correctly. I have also purchased appliances from Oliver Dyer and found that his prices were good and also negotiable. In one instance, I found a better deal elsewhere and he matched it.

I called Oliver Dwyers on a Saturday. Their website stated that they had same day service for repairs. This is not true. Service technician was scheduled for the next week. Service Tech did arrive on time, but after a looking at washer, he determined that it would cost me $347. I opted just to buy a new washer for $399.99. I called Dwyers back and told them not order the part that was needed for the repair. Obviously, that did not happen. I received two calls from Service Tech wanting to complete my repairs. Overall, I'm sure they do excellent work, but just make sure the office communicates with the technician.

It was a pleasure to deal with a professional. Reagan took me right the appliances in my price range and did not try to sell me more than I needed. He knew about the products he was selling and was honest. The man who installed the dishwasher was very professional and clearly knew what he was doing. I am impressed, especially after dealing with the Sears Outlet in Fort Worth where one of the sale associates literally fell asleep while I was shopping!

Our 7 year old washing machine wasn't draining correctly and giving an error code. We were pretty sure that it was a clog of the drain pump. The technician was originally scheduled for between 9-11 but rescheduled it to 1-3 on the morning of service. He arrived early at 12:45. He was very nice and quickly confirmed that the pump was clogged with 7 years of gunk. It was cleaned out and the washer was back to normal. The time to complete the call was about 1 hour.
Description of Work: Front loading Frigidaire washing machine wasn't draining. Diagnosed issue and cleaned out filter.

No matter how hard I shop or try to beat Oliver Dyer's Appliance Sales and Service's prices, I never can. I don't even shop anymore, I just go there. They carry all the major brands, Whirlpool, LG, everything--they carry them all. If you are shopping for appliances of any kind, you are not doing yourself a favor if you don't end up at Oliver Dyer's. Their shipping charges are incredibly low and that includes installation. It's a great overall experience. They treat you like family when you're there.

Installed a control panel in the refrigerator. The noise stopped but the compressor continued to run. Called them back and they said it was normal. I called GE and they came out to look at it. He noticed our heater was out. Fixed it and it has been working right ever since.
