Good. Called on a weekend but could not get worker until Sunday. Unfortunately, after leaving, the problem developed again. When contacted O'Grady agreed to resend plumber on Monday and charge Sunday at regular vice weekend rate. Chad was wonderful, as always. He made a couple of adjustments which will hopefully work as well as replacing the stopper (which was only a year old and looked to be fine). Having been here a number of times and familiar with the drainage in the house, he suggested a rebuild of the present toilet as a preventive measure rather than replacing the toilet at some later time. Due to the way the homes were built, there needs to be a lot of water used to keep the lines clear.

The plumber showed up without a plumbing truck so he had very few tools and supplies with him. We had a simple clog in the kitchen sink but when he couldn't get it unclogged after ten minutes he gave up and instead decided on what I believe is a lazy fix-- he decided to close off the clogged drain and connect the sink to another drain that has itself clogged in the past. My main complaint is that to do this he needed three inches of the most standard plumbing PVC pipe but since he didn't come with a plumbing truck he didn't have it. He drove to a store for an hour and charges us for the time to get something any licensed plumber should have brought with him. End result: $370 for a lazy, possibly temporary fix for a clogged sink.

As scheduled contractor and helpers arrived, started digging in the yard to locate clogged area.  After finding the area out and replaced section with a new piece of line.  Covered trench and has worked fine since.  Estimate was about the same as others, but quality of work and professionalism was much better.

The plumber arrived at my home at 2:20 pm and completed the work and went out to his van at 3:20 pm. He was in his van for 15 minutes before returning to my house at 3:35 pm and presenting me a bill showing $47.50 for a service call, $166.25 for 1.75 hours of labor and $47.34 for parts for a total of $265.00. I asked him to explain the charges and he said that the $47.50 is for the time he took to get to my house. He said the hourly charge includes the time he did the work, the time he took to buy my parts (20 minutes), the time he took to complete my bill and the time he figures it will take for me to pay him and for him to get back in his truck to leave. He said if I disagree with this I should call his office since he is only the messenger.  I  did call his office and the bill was reduced. The plumber was not happy about this and showed it in his attitude.

The actual work in my home took one hour and the time to buy the parts was 20 minutes for a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes. But my bill was charging me for 1 hour and 45 minutes at the rate of $95.00 per hour. The extra 25 minutes charge was for the plumber to prepare the bill, present it to me, and get paid. I strongly object to this much of a charge for this part of my plumbing service.

I do not know if I will use this plumbing company again.  I do not like paying for a plumber's time once he finishes the job. Charging  for fifteen minutes to complete the bill and then charging for the time the plumber estimates that it will take to present the bill, get paid, and return to his van  is not acceptable to me. I am sorry this happened since I enjoyed doing business with this company.

We were form the San Francisco area. My Mom had a leak in the slab of her 35 yr. old home. They came on time, moved clients to help my 93 yr. old Mom, they were fair in pricing, did the work well, were kind to my Mom, and explained everything as they did it. I HIGHLY recommend them.

They did a good job. I have used them other times, too. Not cheap but very good at figuring out complicated problems and doing only necessary work.

After being let down by a plumber who had done good work for us before we were put in contact with Randy Pair at O'Grady.  The work he did was amazing.  He spent 5 hours making sure a dangerous previous installation was made right.  I will use Mr. Pair as our go-to plumber in the future.

I was OK till I saw the bill which I was charged more hours than he was there and I was told that travel time is included and I am sorry but I do not think that it should cost me $140 an hour for them to be driving!!!! He told me it would be cheaper to wait on Saturday but did not tell me how much it was going to be nor that they charge me to drive there. It should be a one time rate for the service call itself (NOT hourly) and it should be labor charges by the hour. A service call is JUST that. So wasn't expecting to change a garbage disposal for $440.00 (after discount) Got charged a lower service charge on Tuesday ($85 an Hour) which also included travel time!! They did a great job but I feel they were far more expensive than they are for commercial customers and next time I will know to shop around for a better rate. Thank you

I called O'Grady's, talked to a manager and explained what had happened. He agreed to credit the difference between what he charged me and what the other plumber charged to clear the clog.

If O'Grady's plumber had been prepared with a working snake (which he broke on his previous job) I would not have had to go through all this.

And, he recommended a much more invasive, expensive solution by suggesting cutting through the wall and running a drain pipe along the outside wall of our house to drain the washer.

Technician called and let us know when he would arrive. He was professional and well spoken.
Just after he left, I discovered that the sprayers in both faucets were hard to operate and called his office.
He was back in half an hour and tried to fix the  problem but said he needed to order new parts.
He came back after a couple of weeks and did fix the problem.
The toilet he worked on is still a little "cranky". We may have to call him back again.
I can't say it was inferior workmanship, since that is an old toilet and requires frequent attention.

My water heater started leaking badly.  I placed a call to O'Grady on  Sunday afternoon, they returned call same day and said they could respond early next day.   They called early and determined the type of water heater needed and were at my home within an hour.  The new install was very professional and a definite upgrade over my previous.  The installers were very courteous and explained all of my questions.  They completed the install in an expedious manner and left everything very clean.

They will be on my A list for any other plumbing work  that comes up in the future.

Even though they were a bit late, they called to inform me .  I would much rather have the plumbers finish the previous job thoroughly before coming to my home since then I know that they will do the same for me--which they did.
The two men had to use a plumbing snake to unclog two pipes under my house. They were courteous and professional and did not leave until they were sure everything was working right.
I definitely plan to call them again when I need a plumber.

The gentleman that performed the work did so on time, within the estimate cost, and professionally.  I would highly recomment this company.
