I called and spoke to a woman who was very nice. I gave her a description of the chair and she gave me a ballpark quote of $225.00 and estimated a turnover time of about 2 weeks. I drove the chair to the establishment and was then given a firm quote of $265.00. I then had to go to a fabric shop to pick out and buy fabric. Took fabric back to upholstery shop. All this on Wed. Jun 6. Got a phone call on Friday June15 about 1:00 pm saying chair was finished. Biggest problem was that because of sickness in their family if I wasn't able to get the chair that afternoon I would have to wait until a week from the following Monday because they were going to be closed the next week. Luckily I was free and able to drive to Ft Worth right then. The chair looks very nice and the workmanship appears very good. Also, the day I dropped off the chair luckily I saw a sign (that was not readily visible) on the open front door that said cash only, no checks or credit cards. This was never mentioned nor was it in the Angie's list info. I would have been very upset had I not seen that sign and driven all the way over there expecting to pay with credit card and gone home with no chair!!!

Northside Upholstery Shop is actually an auto upholstery shop that does furniture also. They do an excellent job at very reasonable prices. The day we first went in there they were doing intricate upholstery for a car. I thought if they could do something that spectacular for a car they could as well do my sofas.
