I highly recommend Nate Riley for Riding Lawn Mower Repair. He does excellent work at an excellent price. .I was thinking of replacing my mower before I spoke with Nate about the repairs. (My mower is difficult to work on due to an automatic transmission and a total of 3 belts.) Nate is a true professional. He explained the needed work, then loaded and took my mower back to his shop. He completed every repair then cleaned and delivered my mower back on time. My mower now runs like it did 15 years ago.

All was great, he was prompt and very thorough. He followed up when I had some additional questions. Explained everything well.

The spark plug kept fouling on my 8 HP Briggs&Stratton Snapper riding mower. I had to put in a new plug after each use. A Snapper dealer said I needed to get the engine rebuilt (which almost cost the same as a new engine). Mr. Riley said that he thought he knew what the problem was. For less than $200 he put in a new head gasket, rebuilt the carburetor, and did some other refurbishments. Most importantly, he advised me to throttle the mower way back and run it for about 10 seconds before shutting it off. Two full mowing seasons later my Snapper is still starting up and running like a champ!

It was high season for the trade and I knew it would be a while before I could cut my lawn. Turned out to be about 5 weeks during this period. It's been hot and dry and there was not that much to cut or as frequently. When I did my first cutting, I immediately noticed that it did not use that much gas. New spark plug, gas filter, and oil change makes a difference! My 14-year-old mower is like new. Helps that it was built by John Deere.

Mr. Riley was extremely accommodating with the drop off and pick up time. The mower was ready to go in three days. It runs like a champ. The cost was extremely reasonable. He did great work and is a really genuine, friendly, honest person. I highly recommend him for any small engine repair.

I spoke with the provider once to schedule a time to pick up my lawn mower for repair, he scheduled for the provider to come 2 weeks from the call, he never showed up or called to reschedule, I will never try and hire this provider again.

Nate was awesome!  I called and was able to drop my mower off to him within a day or so and the turn around was quick.  It only took him a couple of days to fix it and get it back to me.  I had never had the mower serviced and he showed me how to drain the existing oil (what was left of it anyway) and then how to check it.  He also told me how often to get it serviced and being new to Texas answered my questions about how the care for the mower differs from what we used back in the northeast.  After picking up my mower Nate and I chatted for a little while about family and about our travels around the country. He was very friendly and I am not going to hesitate to give him a call next fall to service our Toro push mower.
