"This customer contacted me to diagnose one of his AC units that was not cooling properly. I noticed that the divider plate was askew. I asked if he wanted me to fix it or I could tell him how to fix it. After he repaired it, I took another amp draw on the compressor and found that it was a little low, but probably not enough for the manufacturer to replace it. He became irate because I would not send it back to the manufacturer. If the unit is sent back and found to be within the proper range, then Metroplex Mobile RV is responsible for the charges. When I informed him of this, the customer used a very harsh tone with abusive language. At that point, I advised him that he should get someone else to service his RV. Once he threatened a lawsuit, I ceased contact with him. I was there three times and charged him for one service call and no labor. I did not charge him for the two subsequent service calls. I strive to provide excellent service, but find it difficult to tolerate abusive language."
