Great--they were able to fit me in the next day early before going to another job. They cut everything I needed, and suggested a couple of additional branches, and cleaned everything up and ran it through their chipper. Normally I have it just stacked or taken away, but they were taking the chipper to their next job, and had it with them. Good work as always.

Three years ago I used Merkwan to trim 2 large red oak trees, 2 large Live oaks, and one Cedar Elm.

Because I was so impressed with the work that was done I called you again this year hoping for the same service. I was completely shocked at the difference in the 3 years.

Three years ago, there was one crew (5 or 6 people) who finished all the work in one day?s time.

This time the job was performed over three days - a complete waste of their and my time. I understand that 3 holly bushes and the neighbor?s live oak were included that were not included last time.

The Cedar Elm was pruned and looks good.

Limbs were taken off of one of the live Oaks which in my opinion should have not been cut. One of the cuts was butchered  The crew on the 3rd day tried their best to correct the damage, but the damage was already done to a 35 year oak.

Red Oaks in front yard were completed and look good.

The neighbor?s tree was ?pruned?.   As a layman, I assumed that the pruning would include raising the canopy and removing all dead wood. The estimate on the live oak was more than any of the other trees. There are still dead limbs in the tree.  I understand that there was additional work that was accomplished that was not included in the original quote. However, we feel that three years ago, this work was done including raising the canopy and removing all dead limbs and suckers, and it was not listed in the original quote.  
Holly bushes were trimmed, but still had shoots that should have been trimmed.
I contacted Mr. Merkwan and sent pictures. He said he would review pictures and get back with me. As of today he has not contracted me.

I don't know what they pay those guys, but it's not enough. They worked hard for three hours and then walked me thorugh everyting they had done (and a few things extra I had not expected). Well Done!

Great.  They are certified arborists and know what to trim and how to do it.  Also got advice on what seemed to be killing my ornamental pears and other good general tree advice. (PS the date is approximate.  They came out several times for different things).

They were very nice people to work with.  They did a great job.

Had a very large oak tree hanging over the roof. They worked extra hard to remove before ice storm. Also had 4 other large oaks trimmed the proper way. Excellent company who really cares about the health of trees!

They were on time and performed as expected.

Five men arrived about 9 am. Did not complete work until late that afternoon. At one time they had 3 men in the largest Oak tree. Cleaned up work area very well.

They're very good at what they do. They responded very quickly. They're arborist. There's a lot of tree cutting services out there but the people aren't arborist and they just go in and they cut a tree and that could be a mature tree. I like that they have the knowledge of what they're doing. They're pricey but you get what you pay for.

The work was done on the scheduled day and completed on time. They did a good job and cleaned the site well of tree debris.

They cleaned up well and they did a good job. Their quality of service is good and they were punctual.

Called them on 12/30 and they made appointment & came the same day. Gave reasonable estimate and were able to do the work same day. 2 workers and the owner did the work. Very professional & knowledgeable about trees & tree trimming. Did a great job and cleaned up all the mess Haul away was an extra charge but we were informed of this in the estimate.

EVERY PERSON ON THE JOB WAS POLITE, WORKED QUICKLY AND WAS CLEAN. I COULD NOT ASK FOR ANY MORE. I HAVE ALREADY HIRED THEM FOR MORE WORK AND RECOMMENDED THEM TO FRIENDS.
