It was great!!!!

Well. I wanted a simple frame,width and color were the first considerations. After selecting the frame, we looked at a variety of mats and settled on a creamy white with warm highlights. Width of mat came next, then hardware. I wanted archival framing which means there are no acids in the mat which discolor the picture over time. Glazing was easy--deciding whether to use UV or regular glass. Marty has won awards for the intricate frames made here. You can see his prize winners in the store; he also has some ready made in standard sizes. The best bargain is a metal frame,glass, and mounting which is very reasonablely priced. I've had some posters and watercolors done that way and they looked good.

I went great! I brought in two odd sized prints for framing. Pat helped me pick a frame and a mat that looked great and was within my budget. She was very helpful and courteous. She even rushed one of the prints in time for my husband's birthday, free of extra charge, which I appreciated very much! The other print was ready in about a week and a half. I'm very pleased with the way the prints look, very professional looking. I was really happy with the excellent customer service. I'll definitely come back to Marty & Pat's.
