Maria's Cleaning Services

I called her to get an estimate for cleaning services for my business and schedule a cleaning. At first she wanted to charge me what I thought was too much for the amount of space I have, so I thanked her and hung up (or her daughter since she does not speak English). A few minutes later I received a call back from her daughter saying that Maria would clean my business for what I had estimated the cleaning to be and we set up services for 10am on Saturday. Very quick turnaround and I really needed it cleaned by Monday. I turned down 2 other companies because she was coming this Saturday and I had already scheduled with her. Saturday came and I went over to my business by 10am and waited. And waited, and waited--for an hour for her. She never called or showed. When I called her daughter, she said that Maria was ill and could not come. I explained how I do not live there, therefore rearranged my whole morning schedule to meet her over there and I was very disappointed in the professionalism that they displayed. Her daughter was very flippant as she said "okay...well, sorry". I will not be using her after all for any services and would not recommend her to anyone--especially if you are really counting on her for a particular date/event.

She was refered to me by a friend who she has worked for 9 years as a nanny/cleaner. With the downturn in the economy some of her longtime regulars are having to cut back on her days. She is an absolute jewel-Maria is very sweet, honest and dependable and does great work! Highly, highly recommend!! Maria's English is limited but she understands well.
