 + -1 moreWent better than I expected. Vacuum worked great! (finally!) My daughter noticed that the cord was still cut (originally there), which I had totally forgotten to mention when I brought it in. Called up Mourad and he said to bring it back in and that he would take care of it. He replaced the cord (didn't charge me extra for it) and had also replaced the belt and bag. I offered to pay for the cord, belt and bag, but he wouldn't accept. He believes in the old fashioned way of doing business. I highly recommend him!
Description of Work: Our Hoover Wind Tunnel had a burning smell when it was turned on and the handle release lever was broken. Brought it in to get an estimate, and Mourad estimated it to be $95.00 to repair. Had called other vacuum places and they estimated it (over the phone) that it would cost about $150.00. So I left it there and he said that it would be ready in about 2 days. He called 2 days later and said it was ready.

 + -1 moreWe dropped the vacuum off on Friday afternoon. MAM called back on Saturday to say that the motor was malfunctioning and needed to be replaced. We approved the replacement. On Tuesday it was ready for pick up. The vacuum works great so far after one use of intensive vacuuming.
Description of Work: The motor of the vacuum needed to be replaced.
