Do not hire these people or anyone with the names Jason Winkle, Roddy Winkle, David Rosenbaum. Eric Brotherton or Roy Layne. Not only did they do bad work they took money and did not finish. I had to hire others to fix what they messed up. The did not pay the lumber bill and thy threatened to lien on my house. They even caused thousands of dollars in actual damage to my house. I happen to know of at least 5 sub contractors they owe money to and at least 3 other families in to them for 10s of thousands of dollars. They own me over $10K.

Bathroom A three day bathroom job has been going on for almost 2 months and a week of that time we had to be away from home for them to work. The grout is inconsistent and not sealed correctly, the existing flooring was damaged, they replaced it, then damaged the new floor. New wall and trim is poorly painted and scraped. So many more issues, but bottom line, the work is subpar and I will have to pay another contractor to fix their work. This is after repeat visits to repair issues with original job. Final payment was demanded before work was complete. Plus, I was told that I'm going to h#ll for complaining. Kitchen Deposit paid over 10 weeks ago. I have been promised one thing after another. Job start was put off several times for various excuses, once they blamed us because we didn't pack the kitchen although packing items was a line item on the insurance claim. After we packed the kitchen, no show no call on day job was to start. Took me two days before they finally admitted that the cabinets and countertop had not been ordered until that same day. To "make me happy" they offered to upgrade my countertop by a couple hundred dollars. I finally lost my cool and they decided to cancel the kitchen job altogether. A week later and I still do not have my almost $4000 deposit back. So now I have a new appliance delivery with no place to store them and a packed, non functioning kitchen, and no money to hire a new contractor. If this sounds fun to you, give Maison Home a call!
