Installation of the fence went well. After it was installed the hardware that they used to open the gate from the inside was too small to serve the purpose and my hand got pinched every time I used it. So they adjusted the gate. This adjustment rendered the lock useless as there is too much space to reach the adjacent post that locks my gate. And worse yet, they could see that this was a problem. Their solution was to unscrew the scores some and bend the part that surrounds the deadbolt. This did not solve the problem. The lock serves no purpose as it does not meet the other side of the gatepost and it looks like ****. I’ve contacted then several times being told that they stand behind their work and they would check it and get back to me. This was over a year ago, I contacted them again 2-3 weeks ago and I haven’t heard from them. I want them to fix it or give me my $125 back so I can get a real locksmith to repair their bungled job.

So happy we called Magnolia Fence & Patio about a privacy fence quote upon a recommendation. The next day Robert came out to the house to give us a quote. He explained with some detail what he could do for our yard as we had some particulars; the main one being we wanted the fence to be level all the way around our back yard and there were definitely some obstacles to overcome. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the outcome. His crew assigned to us was excellent. They were patient, courteous, careful, and most notable, very hard workers. They did whatever had to be done to bring us a beautiful fence in a timely manner. I’d like to make special mention of Alberto in the crew who checked with us periodically to let us know what they were doing and when they were leaving. A very nice polite man. Brian, the project manager, was a delight to have on our property, answering any and all questions we may have had and being especially careful to meet the requirement of a level fence. Bravo to Brian! The end result, we have a beautiful, perfectly level and sturdy cedar stained privacy fence with the sturdiest gates we’ve ever had. We’ve had three other fences built on our properties and this one is the best. I would use them again for any other projects in the future.

I have now recommended Magnolia Fence and Patio twice for fencing projects with my neighbors. Their professionalism and quality work has been great both times. The second project we didn't even get other quotes because of the quality of work and service that Robert and his team provided the first time we used them. I would certainly use and recommend Magnolia Fence and Patio again.

The fence itself turned out OK but the problem lies with management. They do not take responsibility for breaking your personal items even after following all of their instructions. They will not return calls or emails until you threaten other actions. They will deny, deflect or flat out reject any responsibility and will refuse to correct something they did wrong. They broke our stuff and got away with it. Do not hire this company because although the quality of work is OK, their management is unbelievably difficult to work with and ultimately will not accept responsibility for their mistakes.

"Hello, the new fence has been installed on our property and it looks great. Thank you." This was sent exactly 1 month after the completion of the fence. Then another email less than a week ago was sent stating the following. "Amy, thank you for calling me so quickly. I must have been calling or emailing someone else" Wouldn't you say it's hard to communicate with someone when they call the wrong number? Your admissions via email that the fence is great and you were the one who caused the disconnection in communication should show all readers your review is false. Now to address your misunderstanding of my contract with [Member Information Removed] Hill HOA. You did not follow the guidelines for the HOA fence replacement. Specifically it states we are not responsible for any damage to personal belongings and all belongings should be removed from your area. Furthermore it discusses removing all items away from the fence in which this was not. This plastic planter box that cost $49.99 had a dent in it. It was reported a month after the fact. Still don't believe me? Look at the leaves on and around the planter. If this was damaged there would be a disruption in the pattern of the leaves. There is a blanket of leaves showing it's been in that position for some period of time. We stand by our work and are a company of integrity. Please remove your false claim."

Very good job with the fencing. The pergola is beautiful, designed on site. After about 6 months one of gates developed a slight problem. Magnolia fence responded quickly and sent Jaime and his partner (sorry I forgot his name) to fix the gate. They went way out of their way to correct the problem by completely rebuilding the gate. They could have gotten by with a couple of adjustments and replacing two small boards, but Jaime was not satisfied with that, so he built a much better and stronger gate for me. I'm very please with Magnolia Fence and with Jaime and his partner.

We’ve been exceptionally disappointed and frustrated with the level and quality of service received from Magnolia. Magnolia replaced our driveway gate one year ago and we have had repeated and frequent issues with the gate since it was installed by them. Every few weeks after the installation, our gate has broken down. They’ve been out to replace the keypad, the arm on the gate, the circuit board, every other electrical part on the gate. Excluding the initial sales call and subsequent sales visit, each service request has taken weeks and repeated phone calls to the office and emails to Robert in order to have a technician out to review the issue. Our gate is now broken again. It took 3 weeks of repeated phone calls to have a technician out to review the issue. When he arrived, the technician confirmed that the wires on the circuit board were burned out. He also agreed that the burned wires were the exact same wires we paid several hundred dollars to replace at the beginning of the year. He said he would have Robert call us. We tried calling and emailing Robert, but never heard any response. No follow-up whatsoever. We are beyond frustrated to have paid for a gate that repeatedly breaks down every 2 months, and is out of commission for several weeks while we wait on someone, ANYONE, to acknowledge our voicemails to the office, emails to the manager, and respond with some time frame for a technician to come do the repair. We will be moving on to another gate service company and would not recommend this company to anyone.

I was sorely disappointed. We had been talking to them for probably 3 months, trying to figure out what kind of fence we wanted. We finally said what kind we wanted. Well, Robert, the owner of the business, it's almost like his way or the highway. He's really, almost arrogant. Whenever we decided what we wanted, he sent 2 men out here to do the job. I found out later that they were not his regular employees because he had gotten other people from other places because he had so much work to do. It wasn't his normal people doing it. I watched them for awhile and I should have watched them longer. A number of boards were not nailed in the middle. It was top and bottom and the middle wasn't nailed and I nailed some of them because I thought, it's just a few of them, I'll do it. Well, then I found out that behind our storage shed, it's a 8 X 10, the whole back panel, the bottom was not nailed at all. And so, it took me almost 2 months to get them to come back out. I had to threaten them.
The guy he sent out he had sent out before because the one side of the fence looked like a scallop. He sent Jamie out, real nice guy. He said, what do you want me to do? I told him, he did it beautiful when he finished. I thanked him very much. Well, they sent him out again. He said, "What will it take to make you happy, Mr. Cook?" I said well, it's going to be a real problem behind this shed because there's not enough room for y'all to get back there to nail the bottom. He said, hmm. I said, may I make a suggestion. He said sure. And I said if you will run a board the length of the slats that are not nailed, if you will run a 2 X 6 across the bottom to hold those boards in place, I'll be happy. That'll be fine with me. We can't see that and it's not ugly to us and it will hold those boards in place to keep them from warping out. There's dogs behind us and it will keep them from coming in our yard under the fence. He said, Jerry, thank you so much, I appreciate that. That's going to save me so much time and effort. I said, Jamie, this could have been handled months ago if Robert would have only called me.

"[Member Name Removed], I am sorry you feel like I was arrogant. Normally I would take a review and improve, but this is not a good description of what actually happened. We quoted your project over 2 years. I spent more than 40 hours meeting and quoting your project. I was told numerous times "we are ready to get started" to find out we needed to adjust the quote again. When you signed the contract nearly 2 years later, you expected the work to be completed within days. I did everything I could to get it done. We installed a basic dog ear fence unstained. Your sprinklers have been hitting the fence and you piled dirt along the bottom of it causing additional damage. The specific section you are talking about was tricky because you changed the direction of the pickets after we had already discussed how the fence had to be built. Against my better judgment I did what you asked. I had to make several pre made panels and slide them in. I explained to you why the bottom was not nailed. I sent Jaime by more than once to look at your concerns. You never kept our appointment time and finally we gave up attempting to look at your repair. Months later we received a call and had Jaime drop everything to come out. You then offered him money on the side to by pass my office. My guys do not do side work. Its unethical to bribe them. He never felt comfortable working on your property. In regards to professionalism and responsiveness, I tried my best to keep up with all of the quotes and communication. You and your husband were on two different pages the entire project. Your neighbors have all loved their experience with us. I wish you the best and I am sorry you had this experience. They did an awesome job! Robert came and took measurements and had the pergola and the patio staining done within a few weeks. (It would have been quicker but rainy weather kept messing up the schedule.) Looks great and is rock steady! Price was much better than other quotes I had gotten and better than big box stores! Then after a local masonry contractor who built an outdoor fireplace for us couldn't finish the wrought iron fencing around it, Robert stepped in and got it done very quickly. Workmanship and price are outstanding!. Couldn't be more pleased. Would not hesitate to recommend them for anyone. Great people to deal with.

Robert and his team were outstanding from the beginning of the project and I will definitely use them again for future projects. With a project this large, there are always small issues that arise and when those things came up Robert took care of them without hesitation. We had to wait for several weeks (as many did due to the rains that fell in April and May) before beginning work on tear down and replacing fence poles. They ran into problems with rocks and buried concrete that was unknown which required adjustments in location of the new poles. As we also had contracted to do a LOT of hard scape removal and were to begin that project as well, Magnolia Fence put up all of the perimeter fencing and left the gate entrances until after the hard scape was done in order to allow better access for them to complete their work. After the hard scape was done, Magnolia Fence came back to complete the gates and do any adjustments that needed to be done. We are truly pleased with the unique contemporary look that our new fence has provided for our soon to be redone back yard. Robert's team worked very hard, cleaned up after themselves and were so eager to demonstrate their craft. Our neighbor behind us really loves our fence too! We could have done our fence cheaper, but the Tongue and Grove was the right choice for us and we love it !

We recently built a new home in Hood county and have dealt with numerous contractors. Magnolia fence and patio by far has been the best. They responded quickly to our request for a quote and kept us informed of the progress. The initial pergola came out beautiful, but when we realized it did not give us as much shade as we wanted they revised it immediately. The crews and office staff were professional and friendly and they took pride in their work.

Magnolia Fence did a super job of installing the new fence, including using the old wrought iron portion. The fence is not only sturdy and secure, but it looks great as well. Robert was a big help explaining all the options I had and helping pick out a good color.
The crew was super and put up most of the fence in one day. I've received a lot of compliments from neighbors and others about the fence.
I definitely got my money's worth with this job and will happily recommend Magnolia Fence to anyone wanting a quality fence.

It went great. They arranged to come to the house and sink the four 8" x 8" support posts. They arranged with our city for the permits and inspections. One week later,they returned and built the pergola after letting the concrete cure. They completed the job in one day along with the cleanup. The cedar wood had already been stained so it looked great. The Ends of the boards that were trimmed were then stained and the job was a wrap. We burn a lot of fires in the backyard and asked for the scraps of cedar. They stacked them near our chiminea in a neat pile. Above and beyond in my opinion.
