I really like the floors. I was happy with the quality of the floors and the price they charge was fair. I was not happy with the installers but the I'm really happy about the floors.

I made arrangements for the rooms to be measured. I wasn't sure if I wanted to do half of the home or all. I asked for two quotes - one for half and one for all. Instead, I got two quotes - one for half of the home and one for the other half. While it was being measured, he was told the carpet in the bedrooms would be removed even if wood was installed there. It took almost a week to get the quote (his internet connection was down) and when it came, I noticed they had added a significant cost for removing the carpet even though they were told they would not have to do that. My contractor was there at the time of measuring and he told them they would not need to level the floor, but they added 6 bags of leveling compound and labor to the quote as well.
I made it clear that the installation date should be 9/23. There was no misunderstanding about the date. I didn't hear from them so I called 6 days before installation. Oh, they were so sorry but the floor had to acclimate for 7 days so installation couldn't be done until 3 days after the original agreed upon date. If I hadn't called, I guess it would never have been installed.
They advertise the wood is one price and the installation is another. My wood was $3.50 per sq. ft., the installation was $2.50 so you would think it was $6 per sq ft; however, they added extras which in the end made the final cost another $1.75 for a total of $7.75 per sq ft. They don't make it clear about the 'extras'.
They don't tell you that you must pay for delivery of the flooring to your job (I was approx. 5 miles from the store) and because I ordered approx. 995 sq. ft., the delivery charge was $250.
I have material left over from the installation. I have now been told that I can bring that excess product back if I want to get a refund. I really don't have any use for 6 bags of leveling compound and 2 boxes of flooring and 4 boxes of transitions. I don't want to pay for something I have no use for. However, I am 70 years old. They refuse to pick it up. They said if I could get it to their store, they would unload it. Really?
The transition pieces were not laid at the time of installation. That was okay was my contractor was putting in the baseboards. He was less expensive than Lumber Liq. They were to come back when I called them to finish. I didn't think that would be a big deal as I had all this left over product and I thought they would take it away. We agreed the transitions would be laid on Friday (5 days after the initial installation). That didn't work out for them. I talked to them, and they assured me someone would show up at 8am Saturday morning. At 10:45 I called them. What happened? Where were they? Oh, the scheduler forgot to the tell the installer to come do my job. I spoke to the installer and he couldn't come because his children were playing baseball and he couldn't miss that. I agreed. Too bad Lumber Liq. can't hire enough people to work a regular schedule. Anyway, he said he would come Sunday morning to do it. I said okay. Sunday morning he came and discovered he didn't have the transitions to install. He said he couldn't go get it from the warehouse because he didn't have enough money for gas. Lumber Liquidators hadn't paid him for the last 9 jobs. Good Grief!
Communication is a real problem with these people. The hidden charges are also a problem. I would never recommend them to anyone.

It went well. Picking the correct material was hard from the small samples they send you home with. Other flooring stores send you home with a large sample board to see how it looks in your home. We ultimately used another stores samples to determine which wood then compared the prices with Lumber Liquidators.

This place is very hard to get to from 820. We drove around forever trying to get to it. We found some flooring that we liked but we couldn't get anyone to help us even though there weren't very many customers in the store. Finally got tired of waiting and left but we found and bought our floor from another company.

They don't have anything to buy. You can pick it out but they won't have it.

The flooring looks great. They were fine. There wasn't anything super-great about them one way or the other. Nothing too memorable sticks out.

Product is made in China. Several pieces were damaged out of the package but the installer was able to use some of the bad pieces for small cuts, etc. Product does not lock together as tightly as it should and every end seam shows throughout the house. Typical quality control of Chinese made products.

THE YOUNG MEN WHO CAME TO OUR HOUSE AFTER HOURS TO INSTALL OUR FLOORING WERE PLEASANT TO DEAL WITH.
