The repairman was outstanding. Ordered part and next day service. I would highly recommend them. Jim Wilson and crew are great to work with. I would hire them again.

Mel came the same day I called about the repair. He had the part and was able to repair the stove in under an hour.

They were in and out in 30 minutes which included a complete tear-down of the dryer. They have the parts for most major appliances in his truck so repair was on the first visit; no need to order parts. Extremely happy with happy with their service.

It was the ice maker, in which was almost 300.00 to fix, (too expensive) so we just had them clean out the drain, and shut off the ice maker.

I have called on Mr. Wilson a number of times and he instantly responded and performed the services the same day. I am very thankful to be able to rely on him and his team!

Although he had other jobs that day, Mr. Wilson came anyway. He and his technician diagnosed and then fixed the problem quickly. Both men were professional but friendly. I will call them again if we need any other appliance repairs. Thank you Angie's List!

There is an immense feeling of peace and gratitude when one finds a professional, reliable, and honest service provider. Today we had Jim Wilson come and help us with a problem in one of our AC units. We could not be happier with their service and the quality of the work. They were prompt, polite, showed awesome and quick troubleshooting, and will discuss in detail (and in a language one can understand) the repair options. Now I know who is going to be working on my cooling and heating systems moving forward.

Everything was smooth, people were friendly and explained problem and repair.

Two of their repair staff arrived promptly, identified the issue as a faulty compressor relay and replaced it. The following day, I noticed that the fridge was not blowing as cold as it had been previously. I called back and set up a follow up appointment for the following day. One of the repair staff arrived with, who I assume, was the owner. This gentleman insisted that the fridge was running properly as he has "over 43 years experience repairing fridges". He dismissed my assertions that the fridge was NOT functioning as it has been these last 5 years, continually stating that it was fine. After they left, I turned both freezer and fridge to maximum cold levels, and the fridge still is only just barely cold, and I have to limit time with the door open. While I appreciate this gentleman's years of experience with fridges in general, I don't appreciate my 5 years of experience with MY fridge being dismissed. It was a frustrating experience.

Serviceman determined that it would be more financially reasonable to purchase new washer than pay for the necessary parts and labor to repair. Only charged for service call and deducted Angie's List 10% coupon from that amount.

Mr Wilson, the owner of the company, came to my house and repaired my air conditioner.  I've used Jim Wilson & Sons for 13 years now.  They've always been there when I need them for a repair, be it washer/dryer or A/C, no matter if it's a weekday, weekend, or even holiday.  I've strayed to other a/c repair companies over the years because of coupons and "discounts" in the paper or whatever, and regret it every time!!!  All I can say is the Mr. Wilson runs his company the way a business should be run, with honesty and integrity.  His crew/staff are just as professional and able to fix any problem I've thrown at them so far, up to and including, a full replacement of both upstairs and downstairs hvac units.  I hope to see this company thrive.

The installation including the materials was like a $175 or $180 and the first service call was around $75 but he did give me some credit on that since he was coming back in.

Quoted price when decided it was a clogged defrost drain.  I don't see my SC  discount on ticket but didn't bring that subject up.

They were fast and they get it done. 

I called them and in less than one hour they were at my house.  The repair
involved thawing out and replacing the defroster clock and took about 30 minutes total. 
This is a breath of fresh air when the usual wait is around 4 hours
on the appointment date.  I would recommend JW&SS anytime.
