I have used Jewell on several occasions, and have come to be really thankful to have a mechanic in fort worth I know I can trust. They are good at finding everything that could possibly be fixed on my vehicles, and then talking about priority to figure out what's right for me. Pricing is upfront and average (they're not the lowest or the highest in town), but I feel I can trust their work which for me is totally worth it vs the lowest bidder. Also, they can expedite if you need them to, and they're always very helpful and patient with any questions I have. Overall, just a top notch mechanic.

I have a BMW. They were good. It doesn't drive very good.

I leave my vehicle, they offer a complimentary ride, either to home, a rental agency, or even a lift to the job. They also provide towing service, but I have not needed it,

We had a check engine light on and a few other minor complaints.  They were straightforward with the diagnostic and prioritized the issues by urgency allowing us to take care of the most pressing needs within our budget.  Overall the price was a little bit more than we were hoping to pay, but we wanted it done right and Jewel auto came well recomended by friends.

My husband and I were in the market for a used auto for our son to take to college in Missouri.  We found what we were interested in, test-drove it, and were ready to purchase the auto.  We decided to have it looked at by a mechanic just in case.  Sure enough Jewell found $1800 in repairs and maintenance that needed to be done to the vehicle.  We were able to negotiate the purchase price down with the dealer and have the repairs done by Jewell.  Now we are confident that our son is driving a safe, road-worthy vehicle that will last us through his college years.  They were prompt, courteous and communicative.  We have used them in the past and will continue to use them for our auto repair and maintenance needs.

I brought my car in to have the work done in the late afternoon. The car was ready for pick up the next day.
I left the parking lot and went to put on my brakes and the car didn't feel like it was stopping very well. I was following a friend home and I couldn't reach her to get her to to turn around and go back to Jewell Auto immediately. Once I got home I called Jewell Auto and told them that my brakes weren't working very well. After a little bit of a heated discussion I was able to get Jewell Auto to come with a tow truck and pick up my car from my house.
Once the car was back at Jewell Auto, Sarah Jewell stepped in and started handling all the concerns I had with the brakes. After a test drive by Jewell Auto, Sarah agreed the brakes were not working correctly after hard stops. She thought the brakes that were put on might have been defective so she agreed to replace the brakes. She called me the next day to tell me the brakes had been replaced but that she still did not feel the brakes were working correctly. She said she would continue to work on my car until they found out what the issue was. She even picked me up at my house to bring me back to the shop to pick up a loaner car she had for me.
Sarah had the car worked on for two days changing brake fluid and working on the rear brakes to see if that solved the problem. She kept in constant communication with me letting me know how everything was coming along. Plus, all the extra work that was being done on my car to try to find the problem was at no cost to me. Finally Sarah called and said that they had found a one in a million problem with the anti lock braking system. I was causing the car to feel like it wasn't braking. They fixed the problem at no charge and I now have my car back and it's working just fine.  Sarah even called the next day to see how my car was working.
Even though I had a problem with the service on my car,  the way it was handled was above and beyond what I would have expected from any auto repair place. From now on I will  always have my car serviced by Jewell Auto.

I had gone to my dealer for an oil change and they had told me I needed all of the above taken care of on my car. The dealer  quoted me a cost of approximately 1200.00. I went to Angie's List to get  other estimates and ended up going to Jewell Auto to get the work done. The cost was 600.00 less than the dealer.
Once I described the work the dealer told me needed to be completed, Jewell Auto qouted me my cost over the phone.  They ordered the parts the day I called for the quote and I brought my car in the next day for service. I dropped my car off around noon and it was ready for pick up at around 4:30 pm that same day. 

Everyone I interacted with was friendly and professional. I called ahead and arranged to leave the van in the morning; they had someone available to drive me to work. The work was complete before 5pm, they picked me up and the final bill matched their repair estimate. As a single working mom I was happy with the entire experience and would use them again.
