Carlos was amazing. He did a great job, was very professional and was precise.

Was satisfied with the work for years (even though a glass door was broken and the routine maintenance charge was high) until now when I asked for restarting bi-monthly lawn mowing and trimming and was hit with a bill 4x usual for leaf clean up. Called to complain and was told I should have known that since it was explained on the monthly newsletter. Will go with another company that doesn't spring surprises on me.

Wonderful - everything looks great and hoping that the grass will take hold and look good again in the spring.

They did a great job! I believe the price was reasonable for all the work they did. They found the broken sprinklers, reattached and fixed them and installed sprinklers where I needed them. They told me about the different kinds of sprinklers and the differences in prices. I chose them to do the service because they were the ones that responded to me and were positive on the phone. When they came out they explained everything and I believe their price was better than somebody else I had talked to. They cleaned up after themselves.

Called Jake's on Wednesday afternoon requesting a service call from their irrigation (sprinkler) team who we have utilized before. They promised to get out Thursday morning (the next day) at 8:30. As the clock was chiming 8:30, there was a knock on the door and, as promised, there was Jakes. They are one of the most reliable service providers we've ever used; we also use them weekly for lawn care and are also very pleased with that service.
On occasion we will ask them for a special project; trees or hedges trimmed, sprinklers moved, etc. Each time we've scheduled them, they show up on time and do the work requested to our satisfaction. Their rates are competitive and we are always pleased to find a company that does what they promise, shows up on time and do a great job. We recommend them without exception.

We contacted Jake's to get an estimate and it took a couple of follow up phone calls to have someone provide the estimate (should have been a hot clue). This was an extremely brutal summer that started very early and Jake's killed my grass the first week of June by scalping it. Even I know you shouldn't cut Texas grass that short in the summer, so I would expect a "Professional" to know this. Unfortuantely, we were out of town and had no idea they were coming or would be cutting it so short so we were unable to water it in order to save it. We went through the entire summer frustrated whenever we looked at our yard and only saw brown grass. When I wrote the check to pay that bill, I included a note that essentially said that they had worked themselves out of a job at my residence because they killed the grass. Did not hear a single word from them - they caused a tremendous amount of damage and couldn't even be bothered to apologize.

I like that they came when I asked them to and were prompt. They did not do an excellent job and started doing the lawn mowing this summer without asking me and did only the front lawn because they could not get into the back yard, so I ended up paying for something I did not ask for.

They do quality work for the price.
