Well. Let's see. I shopped in their remnant yard with a Jade rep, Angie, who told me every remnant is the same price: 30/SF. I chose a marble remnant. I was concerned that there were some obvious black sharpie marks on the marble, but was assured by Angie that the installers knew how to safely remove the marks. Later, she calls me and says that marble remnant was not the same price as everything else in their yard - it was actually $75/SF! By this time, we have a tile crew waiting for the counters, so I said okay, although it was certainly a bait and switch tactic. The installer came out and guess what? Black sharpie marks front and center - right between my two sinks! And the edge on the faucet ledge over my bathtub was 1/2" on one side, but flush with the wall on the other end. A worker from Jade came out and spent many hours attempting to remove the sharpie mark without success. My husband asked the owner to come out and look at the mess & eventually told him to just remove his marble, because we were not going to live with the sharpie and horrible installation. Jade refunded most of the money we paid, however, kept a tidy sum for a "restocking fee". What nonsense! What restocking, exactly? That marble was in the YARD, sitting in the mud, in the RAIN on the day I chose it! Crooked business practices, if you ask me...

Mario, the owner, was very professional and helpful.  We were running around getting quotes from multiple options in order to complete a remodeling project quick before Thanksgiving after realizing that we would be hosting.  He showed us samples of quartz and marble in his shop as well as provided a discount for Quartz that he had onsite that could do the job.  I was elated.  We ended up getting a much better quality countertop than the more expensive retail options and it is beautiful.  He also had sink options on-site to choose from.  We went with a double deep stainless.  Jade Stone also does more than countertops.  I intend to go back to Jade Stone for my tile flooring and definitely recommend Jade Stone to anyone.

 

We are very pleased with Mario's professionalism, kindness, and courteousness. Mario and his Father (also Mario) came out for the estimate and during the installation and answered all of our questions and gave us lots of information about their products and the options we had. We felt very comfortable with Mario. He is completely trustworthy. We were able to contact Mario at anytime no matter how silly the question. He always answered us with honesty, respect, and kindness.
We called Mario, owner of Jade Stone Enterprises, on Friday, March 29, 2013 and he and his Father came out the very same day to give us the free estimate and we went up to their actual business site to look at different slabs of stone and picked our slab out. We got the tan brown and love it! Mario sat down with us and typed up an invoice and set up a day for installation the following week!! We had checked out many other small businesses that do granite counter tops and visited the big box ones too and their timing for installation was weeks (4-6 weeks) away. Mario and his crew came right on time the following Thursday, April 4, 2013 and completed installation. His crew was very pleasant and courteous. Mario came with his crew that morning and got them settled in and answered any of our questions. They left our kitchen clean from the installation. Mario called that evening when his crew was ready to leave and made sure we were satisfied. He also gave us a recommendation for someone to install the plumbing and faucet for our new sink. We asked if he knew anyone and we were again very satisfied with his recommendation.
Later that evening my husband noticed that the bar piece that they installed for us seemed to be slightly un-level. We texted Mario that evening with pictures about this bar piece. He responded quickly and said he would have his crew come back out to correct this piece. His crew came back out the next day and removed the un-leveled piece and removed the epoxy and cleaned up everything and replaced the bar piece and it was much improved and leveled this time. Again the crew was very courteous and efficient. Mario was in contact with us regularly. We noticed later than evening that there was a crack in the granite that was not present before. Again we texted Mario and he texted back quickly and arranged a time with us to come the next day to check it out.
He came out with his Dad and immediately said he would replace the entire piece of granite. We asked him if it could just be repaired so he would not be out all of that money. He said he would send out his brother and crew to try to repair it but said if we were not happy with the repair he would replace the entire bar piece. We were very impressed at his willingness to make sure we were happy at all costs. That same day we arranged a day for Mario's brother and crew to return to repair the bar. Mario's brother and his crew came right on time the day we set up (just two days later--due to our scheduling). Instead of repairing the crack they came out with a completely new piece of granite!! Unheard of....we have recommended Mario and Jade Stone Enterprises many times already and are looking forward to working with him again on future projects!! You will be very happy if you choose Mario for your granite and construction projects!!!

My experience was very good. They were very professional. I had no problems with them. They did an excellent job.
