piano tuning
 + -1 moreHufford's work is superb. He is skillful, knowledgeable and meticulous. I was thrilled (still am) by both the appearance and the sound of the instrument. As noted, he had my piano for several weeks. The work was extensive, there was no need for hurry, and I appreciated Hufford's careful and exacting approach. He updated me on progress from time to time. He is the provider I will turn to for future work on my piano. (I am a musician.)
Description of Work: Mr. Hufford renovated, repaired, refinished and tuned my beloved 54-year-old piano. This was several years ago, but he is still working, and is someone members may want to know about. My piano was with him for a while, but no major work had been done for many years. I did not expect a "rush job." As an aside I'll note that the piano had been the pale blond shade of early 50's furniture; it is now golden oak, per my request. Hufford knows a lot about "furniture refinishing" as well as musical instruments.
