Very well. Crew was very prompt, efficient, & professional. Waiting list was longer than expected, but that was due primarily to the spring thunderstorm season.

Although their prices seem a little high to me, I have used Horton many times over the past few years and am generally satisfied with their service.  This time was no exception - they did a good job.  Due to a storm it took nearly a month from my initial contact for them to come out and do the work. Once scheduled, they arrived promptly and completed the work. Although the work order specified what work was to be done, I had to explain and show them what needed to be done.  They did the job properly and cleaned up fairly well afterward.

Horton was selected by the cable company that had utility lines across the front of our property (There was a minor mis-communication with the price of the service as there was some additional work done above and beyond the work covered by the cable company, but it was a minor issue).  Shane from Horton was great to work with.  He came by and reviewed the trees that had become entangled with the cable company lines then had his guys trim the trees completely out of the way.  They even removed some fast growing "trash" trees would have been a problem in just a few years (preventative maintenance).  They ground up and removed everything and they were done so quickly we hardly knew they were there before they were done.  I look forward to inviting Horton back for tree service on the rest of our property.  
Horton was so good, we have invited the cable company to come talk to us about their service - if the cable company is this good at taking care of an issue at an address they don't currently service, I am hopeful they are that good at customer service in general.

I have used them for several years now. They are very dependable and I trust what they tell me about the trees. Scheduling always goes fine and they accommodate to my time frame. I think their price is pretty reasonable.

I have had Horton prune trees several times over the last 10 years.  They are always thorough, professional and clean up the area when they are finished.  I highly recommend them.

When finished everything, and I do mean everything, is cleaned up. The two trees are the prettiest in the neighborhood, and the grass beneath them is flourishing.

.Very professional crew carefully removed and cut up tree. Several days later they removed the tree debris, but failed to totally clean yard as enough debris was left to fill a large trash can. About two weeks after that, a stump grinder was used to grind down the stump perfectly. We had difficulty getting a firm time and date for the stump grinder. We will not use this company again because of the outrageous price charged. Insurance paid the bill minus our deductible, but the company appears to have taken advantage of the fact that it was Easter weekend and that our insurance was paying the Bill. Notwithstanding the outrageous price, the quality of work was excellent except for incomplete cleanup.

They quickly took care of the problem and did a professional job cleaning up.

Horton Tree Service always does a great job. I have used them three times in the last 10 years, always with the exact desired results. On this job Horton trimmed all the trees on the property (even over the pool). The trees looked great and they cleaned up all the branches. They even asked if I would like them to cut some firewood.

Although the crew left early to attend to an emergency (fallen tree removal), they returned bright and early the next morning to finish our project, remove all downed materials and cleaning up.  I appreciate their professionalism and courteous responses to any questions I had.  I had satisfactorily used Horton on a number of occasions in the past, but this is the first time I have had an opportunity to give public kudos to as large an audience. r henry, fw, tx

Things went excellent. They showed up on time. They did great work. The estimate was right on. The technician was excellent. Everything was great.

They did a wonderful job! They trimmed a huge tree down for me and they even chopped some of it up for me and gave it to me to use as fire wood. They also cleaned up everything that they cut up and took it with them, and they took a lot off the tree! Their crew was very professional.

The tree service I contracted for was a rather small job. Nevertheless, Horton tree service sent 4 men and an abundance of equipment. They completed the job in just over an hour. I watched as the lead climber shimmed up the dead tree, carefully trimmed off the dead branches and dropped them into an area where they could do no damage to my yard. After trimming away the branches from the power line, he then backed down the dead tree, cutting off the top of the tree in three foot long pieces as he came down and guiding their fall so that they too could do no damage to my yard. All the dead wood and branches were cut into pieces small enough to be carried, not dragged, to the shredder parked in the street. In the past, I've seen damage done to people's yards because the trimmers did not take this much care in their work. The trimmer also spent a few minutes trimming away some branches that were fouling the cable TV drop line, even though that had not been contracted for. The final clean up was meticulous and thorough.

All in all, this was a great job, performed by a highly skilled and professional crew, something I've not always seen from other tree service outfits. The price I paid for the job, while not a screaming bargain, was very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the work. Homer Horton will get all my future tree service business.

They had all the right equipment. They had a good team of guys working. They had the tree down before we even realized it. It was that quick and that good. We were sitting right there and looking at it. We were eating breakfast and we turned around and the tree was down.

It went well. They were prompt and worked with my budget.

Horton Tree Service was great. My husband and I got three bids from different companies. Horton's was half the price of the other two. Skeptical of the low price, my husband questioned Horton regarding the tree trimming process, treating for oak wilt, etc. They were very knowledgeable. When my husband told another company about Horton's low price, they even said that Horton was a great company and that they would go with them based on the price!!! The tree cutters arrived as scheduled and spent 3+ hours trimming and cleaning up our two trees. They had one guy climbing the trees and two others on the ground trimming with a pole saw and doing some clean-up. They even consulted me a few times about whether or not I wanted certain branches cut. I really appreciated this, as these two trees are extremely important to the aesthetic of our landscape. In the end, Horton did not let us down. They did a beautiful job on our trees and were very careful to treat all major cuts to protect against oak wilt. My yard was left clean of any debris. They were thorough and professional. I would not hesitate to hire them again!

They climbed up in the trees, cleaned them out and did a real good job. They had an arborist with them and he told us they looked fine. He said we might be watering too much but both trees looked good. I was very pleased to get it all thinned out. It's not rocket science, but they had the right equipment and they weren't making it up as they went. The arborist was pointing out what to trim and I liked the way the team worked together. They were right on time.

Overall they were efficient and did an expeditious job. I was satisfied with their work.
