Interior Painting, Drywall Service
The painter I'd been using didn't want to mess with removing an existing popcorn ceiling. Haywood Porter was listed in a neighborhood publication so I had him give me an estimate. The ceiling was in bad shape with cracks, water stains and several holes from electrical work. It also has a complicated layout with several changes in elevation. He gave me two estimates, one with light orange peel texture and an option for a flat ceiling for an additional $2800. I opted for the orange peel. He provided a long list of references. He said it would take at least 12 days but managed to knock it out in only 9 days by putting in long hours. I'm very happy with the results. He even patched several holes in the walls that weren't in the contract. He left the remaining paint and the brand, name and code number of the paint in case I need to match it in the future.
