While Matt who helped me with this pool renovation was very easy to work with my over all experience with this company was not good. Their crew was disrespectful of my property and haphazard in their work which cost me real money. In addition to this their incompetency led to a very long delay in completing the project. No consideration of this extra cost to me or my time was of a concern to them. Can not recommend them.

Professional, punctual, and reasonably priced. Our pool looks great.

Gary and Danny made all of the difference in the world. We had a couple glitches along the way but Gary and Danny took over and fixed all of the issues. This company STANDS BEHIND THEIR WORK. I believe they put the customer # 1 and strive to satisfy the customer. Their prices are competitive, but their key difference from other vendors is that they care about satisfied customers. Next year we are going to make additional pool remodeling and H&H will be our first choice.

Met with Dale Wallace last year in July to get an idea of what they thought we needed to fix our broken down pool, We needed suggestion on how to proceed, what we needed and ways in which to save costs as the pool is part of an HOA. Due to our changing what we wanted, Dale made three trips at our requests. Each trip he noted the changes we needed without any commitment that he was going to get the job. In early March, we committed to Dale that he was our man and to do the job. The entire job is just about complete with our pool looking wonderful. We used Dale's suggestions on most everything including tile selection. color of the pebble finish to making our fountains operate properly. He was most easy to work with, very trustworthy and honest on everything. Just a pleasure to do business with, without any hassles.We have another pool in out property, and have requested a quote to do some minor repairs on that pool.

I highly recommend H and H pools for any work needed as everyone in the company has been perfect to work with. A wonderful company.

We had a hard time finding someone who was able and willing to do the whole job. This included ordering a new urn, taking out the old one and attaching the new one. Dale understood the problem and had a solution. He explained potential challenges. They did a great job attaching the new one, it looks great. They removed the broken pieces. We are very satisfied.

The timing on the work left the pool empty for several days. When we asked in the beginning, during the bid, how long it would take we were quoted the number of working days but did not understand that there would be several days in between the working days. This caused significant inconvenience due to boarding a dog. They did reimburse some money for the extra boarding but the experience was much different than I expected.
During the job I was led to believe that they would get the pool light working at the end of the job. This never happened. The quality of the work was excellent. I have no complaints about the surface and tile job. They installed a new drain and overall I am very pleased with the work.
After the job was complete, it was weeks before I heard from them with the final bill. I kept expecting them to come back and fix the light. Eventually, I received a paper bill from them that indicated it was overdue. As it turned out, they misspelled my email address and I never received their bill. Then they were short with me as though I intentionally withheld the payment, which I did not. This misunderstanding and being made to feel like it was my fault will cause me to look around next time and probably not use them again.

Dale W. was our primary contact and designed the water feature and cut, shaped, set the rock slabs himself. Unbelievable to watch it take shape. He and the tile/coping/plaster crews were obviously masters at their trade which is the key point. You can find plenty of people willing to work masonry but it is a trade that takes years to truly master. These guys have put in those years and it's obvious. The rock slabs had to weigh 250 lbs. a piece and yet they seemed to float around the pool edge like they were weightless. The finished product looks amazing. Our friends and family all loved it and I think I detected just a little bit of envy from the in-laws! Score!

Seriously, if you want your pool to stand out, call H and H. Check out their website...they have been around forever and can handle huge commercial projects and did a fantastic job on our pool.

Very fast, great quality work very friendly

GREAT job. This work was done 10 years ago and everything still looks new. The heavy stone caused a crack in our driveway which was fixed immediately.

This is my second time using Hand H. The first time was to resurface and re-tile my pool last year. I called them again to replace part of the deck around my pool. Of course I called several other companies for estimates and Hand H provided the better price once again.
I worked with Donnie this time and he was punctual and professional. He explained the process and went over with me the new design for my deck.
The crew arrived on a Friday and got right to work. They demolished the old deck and formed the shape the new deck.
They returned on Monday and began immediately with a fresh concrete pour which again they worked very fast and completed the job relatively quickly. Although, the job is l not complete because it needs to be stained, which takes two weeks while the concrete properly cures. That being said the deck still looks good and now I can envision my backyard completed and I have the space and design I wanted.

Bill Johns managed a process that included draining the pool, coordinating with a repair company of ours and plastering. They did a wonderful job with this process. I am impressed with their professionalism and they did a beautiful job. I have recommended them to two friends.

Dale was our design and project manager. When problems arose with the light style change he worked hard to find a way to make it work.
There were some delays towards project completion that seemed to be related to a bigger project coming their way.

Hand H removed a section of driveway that was breaking up and installed a new section.
I was very pleased with Hand H's service and the end product. They
were here very quickly and completed the work in 1 day ! This included
removing the old concrete, cutting out some large roots that had pushed
up the concrete, putting in rebar, framing and pouring the new
concrete. Beyond the regular process they put in an extra thick section
to support my motor home and dumped the old concrete along a creek bank
to stop erosion. Because they didn't need to use a dump truck to haul
away they old concrete they proactively reduced my price. Upon
completion they ran yellow warning tape to keep anyone from
driving/walking on the new concrete and picked up the area. I would use
them again for sure and will recommend them to friends.

It went great. They had the entire job of repairing the pool done in 1 day and it looks great and it does not leak. They then followed up with replenishing the chemicals once the pool was refilled. They did say they would follow up again with retesting which they didn't do, so I had the water tested at the local pool store and it was very low in calcium hardness and needed several pounds added. I elected to contact H and H again and they came back out and tested the water and added a moderate amount of calcium hardness which turned out to be the perfect amount needed. They charged exactly what they had given me an estimate for. I also had asked about relaying and area of pavestone in the pool deck, which they first said they could do, but later declined to do it. They stated it is not a type of work they normally do.

I received a very competitive bid from Bill Ford. Not the lowest but I felt that he gave me the best advise on how to do my project. He didnt try and run the price up with extras that werent necessary. I cannot say how pleased I am with the entire experience. I initially picked Hand H because I was impressed with the fact that they didnt use any subcontractors. They had in-house crews for all stages of the plastering process. Bill called almost daily to keep me informed as to the progress of the job. Workmanship is excellent. Cleaned up everyday. Thanks to Bill and all the guys at Hand H!!!

Dale provided a detailed estimate including photos. The work was completed as scheduled. We are very pleased with the end result.

Overall the job went pretty well. They did pretty much what they said they would do when they said they would do it. A couple of issues were that after the initial bid, we asked to get a quote on replacing both the pool and spa lights with LED lights. This request was made before any work started. In spite of a couple repeated requests, they never got replaced. There was also some miscommunication about when to add salt to the pool after the job was completed and who would do it so we ended up doing it at the time we understood that they said it needed to be done, only to find out that they would have done it. They did however give me the same amount of bags of salt that I purchased. (In their defense over all of the misunderstandings, the salesman we were dealing with was also dealing with a wedding for one of his children which likely caused some of the problems)

When all was done, I have to say that the quality of the work was good, they were timely, they kept the mess to a minimum by cleaning the area thoroughly each time they completed a work day. Overall I am pleased with their performance and I would hire them again.

Dale Wallace and his crew did a great job. They made the repairs very quickly and they look great. Dale even came back on his own time and patched a few spots where the plaster was damaged. I would highly recommend them and would have them back in the future. Our pool looks fantastic!

H and H did an outstanding job and has been very responsive to all of our questions and concerns..

We had a total renovation of our pool. The plaster was worn and needed redone. The brick coping and the tile had separated. We had a major leak between the coping an tile and the brick mortar around our hot tub, and a couple issues with plumbing into the pump. We had a great guy who came out and found the leak, so I asked him for a recommendation. He recommended Hand H.

I worked with Anthony and he was *fabulous*!! He took his time and explained every step to me, in as much detail as I wanted (I prefer lots of detail). He never pushed more expensive options on me, and helped me get what I really wanted. He was creative with options and I so appreciated that. We had a replaster with a beautiful crystal mix-in, so we got the deeper blue without the roughness or price of a quartz finish. We chose new tile and rock coping. Anthony described every single step and he was dead on.

They came in, stripped out the old plaster, took off the old brick and tile over couple of days and left it clean. They worked together well as a team. The man who came in to do the tile install was quick and clearly knew what he was doing. The man who did the stone work? All I can say is wow. He cut it all by hand on the spot, and his work is gorgeous. He is a craftsman, no doubt.

In the end, the result was beautiful, and they took care of a number of small things without nickel and diming me to death. I would work with them again in a heartbeat. We had this work done a year ago, and I am still thrilled with with the product and the service. Oh, and he also kept in touch every day to let me know when the workers would get here, and to remind me of what was on tap for the day
