The price was right.  They are excellent.  They have a good sales people.  I liked shopping with them.

After waiting on hold for a considerable time, I scheduled not only a computer repair service call but also a TV repair service call. Our house was struck by lightning and our insurance provider required diagnostics and assessment of our damaged electronic devices.

After spending over two hours on the phone arranging all these service calls, everything was planned properly. On the day of the first service call, the Geek was a no-show for his two-hour window and called me about fifteen minutes after. He then proceeded to tell me that the Geek Squad in-house service is not authorized to perform diagnostics on any electronic items that involve insurance claims and that I'd have to bring all of them into the store so it could be shipped to Kentucky for evaluation.  This was  the first time anyone from Geek Squad mentioned this, so I canceled the service call.

In my previous phone conversations with various Geek Squad schedulers and lead techs, no one mentioned this clause, even when I made it abundantly clear that all of these diagnostics were for the insurance claims. So, extremely frustrated, I canceled all the remaining service calls and have contacted other local small businesses in my area via Angie's List and have given them my business. Also, not surprisingly, they are much cheaper than Geek Squad.

I will NEVER use Geek Squad again. My time is too valuable to deal with incompetency on this level. I advise all customers to find service and repair elsewhere.

The quality of the Samsung HDTV is exceptional, and the DVD player works well. If we have any questions we can give them a call; they are always helpful. I've bought quite a bit of other things here, they always take care of me. They have a good parking area too.

They were disorganized. They lost my daughter s power cord. I would recommend people label all of their belongings before taking it to them. They seem to pay more attention to incoming phone calls than customers in the store next to them. The customer service was very poor, as well as, their communication with customers.
