Really Poorly - Here is the email I sent to their overseers at the Hulen Best Buy: I am currently on hold waiting for someone at the Best Buy store off Hulen in Fort Worth to answer the phone. I made an order and paid for it this morning from this store. - I can’t view the status of the order from the webpage. It doesn’t let me in with the information I entered. - I’m supposed to be able to come pick this up from the Hulen location… o I have received no emails o I cannot get anyone at the store to answer the phone. - I called the Hulen store, got in queue, at 40 minutes on hold I called on an additional line and let that run o The first line waited on hold for 1 hour, then said the store was currently closed and hung up o The second line is still holding at 28 minutes so far [UPDATE, after an hour this one hung up and said the store was closed as well. Call # 3 is on hold for 41 minutes] This has be absolutely typical of the customer service and support I have come to expect from Best Buy. I’m not just trying to be negative here. I’m telling you every time I have ever tried to call to find out anything I can’t get people to answer the phone or it is not timely, like today. I just paid $265.18 for items I need today and can’t get a hold of anyone to verify anything, let alone that it is good for me to come pick it up now. I need assistance asap please.

The third visit was good
Description of Work: This report is a follow up on a previous report. I hired the Geeks to come to my "home office" . He set me up on a new mail address. He did a good job on setting my computer up to receive emails when I am out of the office. However, he failed to upload my emails addresses to the new email. A second Geek was sent to upload my email addresses to the new email that was set up. He confused my computer, after he left I discovered I could send mail. I had more icons on the computer than I thought was in the computer. The third Geek came out and did an outstanding job on correcting the entire computer situation He was very helpful and wanted me to be pleased with his work. I WAS!!!!!!!!!

Description of Work: I had the Geek Squad (instore) check my computer for problems getting onto the internet and dialog messages received on screen. After about 1 hour the techn. said it was fixed and ready to go. When I hooked it up to my system, there were more problems and the reason I had them check it was still was not fixed! I took it back and they said that they needed to run a diagnostic test at the cost of $200.00. I left it there 8/3/2010 and was told it would be done by 8/6/2010. After calling them for several days after the time it was scheduled to be finished and wasn't I went there to pick up the computer on 8/9/2010. They were not sure if the computer was ready because the 2 techn. who worked on it went on vacation without leaving any notes on the paperwork. They ran the computer 3 times to make sure it was working, I waited over a hour for this to be done. I got home and hooked it up and I still had the same problems!!!! I called them and they said to bring it in and the head techn. would take care of it. Sorry, I need my computer and can not have it sit there for another week. I can use it but the basic problems I took it in for are not fixed. I don't know whether to take it back or ask for my money back.

These guys were thorough and on-time with their diagnosis and estimate of repair cost. The minute they saw that our hard drive was not going to come back online, they called and told us that a new computer was the way to go, and when we decided to leave the computer to let them get our data from the drive, they did so quickly and efficiently. In fact, the dvds with the data were ready the next morning. I would go back there in a minute if I had trouble like this again. We were panicked over losing our photos and data, and they were calm and imperturbable about the entire situation. Count on the Geek Squad. They know what they're doing.
