Sonny assured me he would be there when the inspector came to inspect the work and he didn't show up until the inspector came back the second time.
Sonny asked if we wanted a bigger filter system installed of which we said no and he decided to throw it in at no charge. The initial reason we did not want this new filter system was due to having to contact him everytime we needed a new filter. And we were right- we finally found a place on the internet that can make these filters - the local custom filter shop can't even make them - and they are over $115 for 3.
This work was done in March of 2013 and here it is the end of Oct 2013 and we still have blown in insulation coming down from our attic into our bathroom overhead light & fan, leaking in the inside until closet as well as the hole from the opening to the attic.
We had to take the bathroom light/fan combo completely out of the ceiling due to the insulation getting tangled up in the fan and clean it/unwind all of it so the fan would function because they didn't cover the opening as they should have when blowing in the insulation.
When they got to the house, they quickly assessed the problem, told me it was an easy, quick fix. My millivolt transmitter (?) was corroded and needed to be polished. Sonny and James polished the transmitter and re-installed it. They were only at the house about 30 minutes to fix the problem, and the heater works like new.
I apprecited their speed, honesty, and handling of the issue. I would highly recommend their company.
After his work my unit started making a noise which has grown louder and louder. Now it is to the point that something needs to be done and I'm afraid that I will get the same crap as a review I read off Google where they refuse to come out without charging another fee.
As for the service they did do - they charged $70 per pound of freon (x3), $200 for a capacitor (I know this could be had cheaper but I was leaving town and it had to be fixed that day), and something else that made the groupon deal go to $500!!!
While doing the work the guy forgot to kill the outside unit at the breaker and d*** near shocked himself...afterwards he didn't fix the breaker so our a/c wasn't working when he left. After 5 hours (house was almost 90 inside at that point) he came back and found that to be the problem. At that time he realized he also over filled the freon and had to let some out (or steal it back for all I know) while mumbling stuff to himself.
Very displeased with the service.
