Floyd (the owner) first gave me a free estimate and went over the job with me in detail. I felt he was honest and knowledgable and decided to go with his company. He was able to get a large job done in just a few days using reliable and experienced crewmen, and did not do work on any other jobs until mine was completely finished. He cleaned up all debris well, which is unusual.
He installed new plywood, 15lb felt, metal edging, flashing needed around chimney and vents, and good shingles. He even trimmed tree limbs where needed.
He gave me a two year leak warranty.
The job could not have gone better.
Floyd is really a pleasant guy to work with and to get to know.
He does not give you the "rush job" to get on with it and get away to his next job like a lot of contractors.
Instead, he likes to answer your questions and take his time to make sure you really know what's going on and what to expect.
He also is willing to do a bit more than he promises to do, and visit in person for any follow-up,
and that is a big plus with any contractor.
