The whole process was quick and painless. Clint called before coming and arrived during the specified time frame. He quickly determined the ice maker needed to be replaced. I had given my refrigerator model when I made the appointment and he had the new part with him. He showed me what was wrong with mine and why it was leaking.

It took a couple of trips to successfully diagnose and resolve the problem. Turned out to be an internal valve in the unit that isn't SUPPOSED to go bad after only a year, but obviously ... it happens. Flint (now doing business as an AirCo company) worked to diagnose the problem, then worked with the manufacturer to get replacement parts under warranty and perform the installation.

I had used Flint for several years to check out my unit at the beginning of each summer season. The technician was always on time and very personable as well as professional. He diagnosed a slow leak of coolant from the coil and told us that it would be chaper to replace our aging system than to repair it. We didn't have the funds so we opted to recharge the system each year for two years. Then in 2013 the coolant leaked out before the summer ended and had to be recharged a second time in 3 months. I told the technician I needed an estimate on replacing the system. He said he would have the owner get back to me. But when the system died a month later and I had not heard from anyone from Flint in the interim, I chose three other businesses from Angie's List to get estimates. I eventually chose Texas Air Pro and I have not been sorry.

Tony came to the house and did a thorough job assessing the nature of the problem and getting our AC running cold again.  I have used Flint numerous times over the years, and would recommend them to anyone.  They are prompt and professional, only do what is needed, and have fair pricing.  I am very pleased with the service.

We were very pleased that Flint sent us an actual, honest-to-gosh Lennox technician who knew his way around a system as old as ours. He quickly diagnosed the problem (malfunctioning expansion valve) and set about tracking down a replacement part. Found one in Houston, ordered it, and came back out to install it. Our old Lennox system is humming along, keeping us comfortable even when it's 105 degrees and humid outside.

We will definitely be calling Flint Service Company again, the next time our ancient Lennox goes haywire.

Crew showed up, got into the A/C system, and showed me that I didn't need expensive coil cleaning. Checked the system out and found my drain line had cracked. The fixed that, cleaned things up and then checked my freon levels. Added a few lbs of freon. Update 9/2010: I just went up to change my air filter and noticed that they left a bunch of trash (old condensation drain pipe bits, etc) and screws (shouldn't these be holding my a/c unit together?) on the floor of my attic. I'm not terribly satisfied about that. Dad always taught me that you're not done until you put it back together, put away the tools, and clean up your mess. For that reason, I dropped "professionalism" to a "D".

They are awesome. When we were getting a new unit put in, one guy came out a couple of times on the same day just to do a follow up and he didn’t charge us anything. There have been a lot of times when they have done some work for us and have not charged anything, since we are regular customers. They are punctual as they come on time. They are conscientious. They do follow ups and they are really good.

I called the company at approx 9:30 a.m, explaining that my a/c had frozen up overnight. The receptionist was very courteous and appeared concerned about my situation. She said that she would have someone come out as soon as possible. Within half an hour, Tony, the technician, called to make sure someone would be home this morning. He arrived within an hour of my first call to the company. He came in, explained what he was going to do, and spent about an hour cleaning the inside of my a/c coils. He then tested the system and put gas in the system. He was very knowledgeable about his job and explained the reason for each step. He also told me what to look for from the system within the next few months.

Our refrigerator shut down completely on Dec. 24th! It was full of food for Christmas which was rapidly thawing. We called around and every repair place seemed to be closed until the day after Christmas. We reached Flint Service Company. They heard our panic and sent someone on emergency duty, by 9:30 am Christmas eve morning. The repairman was clearly not thrilled to be there, but was polite and efficient and got the job done so that we did not have to cancel our Christmas dinner.

It's difficult to find a company that will service a window unit, so I checked Angie's List. The few I found did not deal with window units, but one company was helpful enough to recommend Flint Service Co. I called them, and my prayers were answered! The receptionist was polite and efficient, told me the cost of the service call, and said the techs would be calling me between 8:30 & 9:00 the very next morning to let me know what part of the day to expect them. They did call, they showed up when they said they would, the service charge was what I was told it would be. Kenny and the other tech, whose name I did not get, found the problem, & before any work was done told me exactly what was wrong with it and what it would cost to fix it. When they were done, they reinstalled the unit, cleaned up after themselves, received their check and my sincere Thank You, and were on their way. Totally pleasant, polite, & professional from start to finish. I wholeheartedly recommend Flint!

We called a number of companies and couldn't get anyone to answer their phones on this cold day with icy roads - and Sunday also! Kenny called us back after we left a detailed message with the company. He had our heater fixed in about 5 or 10 minutes. He was very nice and courteous and even gave us some safety tips. We asked about normal prices, since this was a weekend charge. He said a normal charge for service during the week is $39.50 and there is a $40 extra charge for after hours and on the weekend. We were extremely happy with the service.
