When David came to do the estimate he was very professional and detailed on the services he would be providing. He continued to say “we would be very happy”. We were not! We had some of of our walls re-textured and his worker got texture all over our carpet. They got oil based on the carpet and it will not come out. David was not here for the most part to manage his workers. He was here to do the staining but it was sloppy and is now scratching off. When is spoke to Sherwin-Williams they said it needed a clear oil-based coat on top of the gel or it would scratch off. He refused to do that. Our railing on our staircase looks almost black because he would continue to add layers of gel on it and again refused to add the clear coat. As for the antique on my cabinets he gave me 4 samples. One looked as if he used a marker and drew it on. The others were just painted on thick and looked like a child painted them. I can provide pictures if needed. I have to hire a “professional” to come in and do the antiquing. I would NOT recommend hiring them. Just because you can hold a paint brush doesn’t make you a painter.
