The workmen showed up an hour early which is not a problem for me but my husband was not ready for them. They did not wear any type of identification; no uniforms, name badges nor company name on their truck. They never introduced themselves. My large dog met them in the driveway and I explained that he doesn't bite. As we approached the door, I said "I assume you are here to work on the air conditioner" and they said "yes." One workman stayed outside doing the A/C and one inside doing the heater. When the old heater was out, I wanted to vacuum out the closet. The workman was short tempered and appeared put out that I wanted to remove the old cobwebs and dust before he installed the new unit. The outdoor workman was happy to answer my questions. I asked to have the old pad removed (it was too small for the new 3 ton unit) and he hauled it around to the back gate for me (the opposite corner of the house from the A/C unit). The work was done by noon. They cleaned up after themselves.
