Environmental Pest Control

I called this company because they were recommended by a real estate agent. I explained I thought I had carpenter ants in the master bath, but that I do not use pesticides at all. I was assured that they would inspect and it was mentioned that the attic would be checked as well and they could accommodate me. I made an appointment. The person arrived about an hour after he intended and asked why I thought I had carpenter ants. After my description, he said I had them and proceeded to begin spraying the baseboards by my front door! I yelled for him to stop as I had no intention of spraying the entire house and directed him to the bathroom where he sprayed the window area and the bath tub. I then showed him outside where he also wanted to spray the entire perimeter of the house which would kill any bug in the yard! Not what I wanted at all. When I asked about bait, he said he could do that and placed some in the bath which would have been best to begin with since he knew I did not want pesticides. All this and I was charge $80 for a quick spray in and out and three squirts of bait. Worth it just to get him to go away.

They didn’t charge us for it, which I thought was pretty generous of them to not charge because there was no way any termite inspection would discover that. We discovered that because we thought we had termites pouring out of the shower so they couldn’t have caught that when they were here for the termite inspection. They did what they said they would. There was nothing bad about them.

Nothing about the experience stood out, good or bad. They did a good job. They had a really big window that they could come out and do the inspection, so punctuality wasn’t even applicable but they were good.
