Efficient Air and Heat

We had no electricity for 2 1/2 days during the blizzard. When we regained electricity the heater wasn’t working. John’s son came out the next day and was able to evaluate, locate part and had heat that afternoon. They are always so friendly and kind. They’re the best!

I had a time scheduled and they actually texted me to see if they could come early. I was very happy with that. I have used them before and they are always punctual and polite and get the job done. I would totally recommend them and if I have any other issues I will be calling. ?

Was able to come out next day and had it fixed quickly. Very affordable and great service!

The service man inspected the heating unit and noticed that the unit's fuse plug had become loose and not making a connection. He told me and then tighten the fuse and soon the heater was back on, working as usual.

I am very pleased with the work performed, responsiveness and punctuality. They were my third estimate and by far the most honest and fair priced. I will definitely call them in the future for any HVAC needs.

John & JD weren't just good -- they were EXEPTIONAL!!! From their incredible responsiveness, to their professionalism, quality of work and more-than-fair pricing, my experience with Efficient Air & Heat was fantastic. My wife & I are new to Fort Worth, so we relied on Angie's List reviews to help us select an HVAC contractor in the area. Efficient Air & Heat's reviews were outstanding -- but frankly, our actual experience with them exceeded our expectations by a long shot. We called right at the peak of the coldest weather of the season. John & JD still came out late into the evening to help us out. They quickly diagnosed the problem and informed us that they would need a part to solve our issue. John kept us continually notified as to the availability of the part. When the part finally came in, John called to let us know when they would be able to return to our house. They pulled into the drive at the exact time John said they would be there! Within 20 minutes they replaced the part and the problem was solved. The final invoice was much less than we'd ever imagined! While John said they'd take a check, we handled our payment electronically, including a copy of the invoice which was sent instantaneously to my smartphone via email. In less than a half-hour, John & JD were on their way (JD cleaned & packed everything up while John handled the payment transaction). You've heard of under-promise/over-deliver? That's what our experience was with Efficient Air & Heat. They will be our HVAC contractor for life. We'd enthusiastically recommend them to anyone!

Poorly. They broke a seal on the cooling unit and then overcharged me for replacement coolant.

I've used John for four years. I found him on Angies List. This was the very best find in the world. He is honest, customer service oriented, dependable and always gets the job done. The office staff is super fantastic and always accommodating. I will not call anyone else. Efficient Air and Heat are part of my family now. :-) I see them once a year. LOL. Awesome! They worked with me on the time to come over and even though it was late he and his son came out and took care of me. I have an older unit that I am trying to milk along as many years as possible until the inevitable replacement. They checked my Freon and it was low again by 2 pounds same as last year. this time there was another item that had problems and they caught it before it was 104 degrees outside and I'm having to deal with it at the most inappropriate time of course. I will always use this company and when it comes time to replace I don't think I could get a better company that would be there for me if I had any problems. 5 stars!!!

We had used them in 2014 when my mom was still alive.

John and his assistant were very courteous and professional. They thoroughly explained what was wrong with my AC and gave me some good advice on replacing it. I would have no problem calling him again for AC service.

They kept in contact and arranged service around my schedule. Had to order a new fan motor for a 17 year old unit. It was back ordered and was replaced in a day or two after it came in.

John and his assistant were diligent in checking out the unit and repairing an air duct that had worked loose, causing air to escape into the attic. All was well and they didn't charge for repairing the air duct. John is very personable and fair in the pricing. I will definitely be calling them to do my regular maintenance and any repairs in the future! Thanks, John!

The price and ate are off. I told myself I would do this a long time ago, and let it get away from me. This guys are some of the most ethical people I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. John was extremely courteous and he came out and helped us outside of normal circumstances when we really needed us. We have used them multiple times. He has alway been up front. When a problem was found he showed us, explained the problem, and explained the fix. I have never been happier doing business with anyone. I am just sorry it took me this long to write up a review.

They were very prompted. The worker, I believe his name was John was a very helpful. You know he took care of the issue quickly. You know, of course he knew what was he was doing. But Yeah, a very pleasant, good guy and yeah an overall great experience. I have so suggestions for improvement, I think they were great.

John was great. Communicative on timeframes to receive the parts. He promptly returned and fixed our unit. Great Service and appreciative attitude. It is nice to be appreciated as a customer!!!!!

Went great! The company technician was OUTSTANDING! Professional, personable and courteous. He came a little early, which was fine. Evaluated both units. We had told him that one of the unit's blower was running a little louder and rougher than the other. Upon inspection, he found that a dryer sheet had gotten sucked up by the blower and was causing it to be out of balance (louder and rougher). Didn't help that the laundry room was right across from the air intake. Within 45 minutes, he was done and provided some recommendations for improving flow in one are of house, completed the electronic receipt and he went on to his next assignment. Will DEFINITELY have them back in spring to check out the A/C side of things (and the verify the recommended improvements) before the heat come on.

Service provider was great.  Prompt and professional.

John came out in summer of 2015, we had a leak in our evaporator coil and it was freezing over resulting in no cool air. He recommended replacing it, but at the time we didn't have the funds so we refilled the coolant and kept going in hopes it would take a while to break down. Fast froward to April 14th 2016 and it started doing the same thing again, or so I thought, so I called John back thinking it was time to investigate. John looked it over and I was wrong, it wasn't breaking down yet, but he still recommended the same thing. Unfortunately for me the previous recommended repair was going to be more pricey because the government is going away from the coolant we were using, so we would need to make additional changes. We had the repair scheduled for April 19th but the weather didn't agree with our plans so we rescheduled for April 26th. By April 23rd the evaporator coil was freezing over again so John had great timing coming out only three days later! Steve was the Service Technician, I'm not sure of the actual title, that came out and did the repair. He was extremely professional and very courteous. I have a 2 year old dog and she so badly wanted to visit with him, he didn't get impatient when she was barking for attention, he took the time to greet her so she calmed down. Steve was at the house for about six and a half hours removing the old stuff and bringing in the new. He did a great job covering my floors to avoid any accidental spills. I'm hoping that nothing happens to the other unit for downstairs any time soon.... but in the future when I need them I will be calling Efficient Air and Heat back!
