The stonework was a disaster! They built the wall and said they would come back out the next day to acid wash it. After they acid washed it, the stone turned dark brown. Now we know it’s because they used sandstone and not leuders, like they were supposed to use. After telling them it was too dark, they came back out to “fix” it by smearing white mortar all over the stone. It now looked like my 5 year old built it. After raising our concerns again and trying to reach them multiple times, they said they would have to knock it down and rebuild it. They scheduled a day to come back out, but canceled at the last minute. After trying to reach them several other times, they scheduled a time to build again, only to cancel again. At this point (almost a month later) we knew they would not repair the wall and found someone else to knock down and rebuild. Luckily we did, because the new mason discovered there wasn’t any rebar in the footing, so the wall would have crumbled anyways. Stay far away from this company!!
