Stephen was one of four companies that provided a quote for my replacement system. Stephen provide a complete assessment for replacing my heater and A/C; the quote was very complete addressed all work to be performed. Stephen went through a number of options and configurations which were best suited for my home and was not at all insistent on "pushing" something that didn't work for me. He provided a number of options, presented the pro's and the cons for each and provided recommendations based on the time I expected to be in the home - nice cost benefit discussion. He was responsive when I asked questions via email and phone as well, flexible given my work schedule which I very much appreciated. Stephen's price was very competitive with the other quotes and again complete. Stephen and his crew showed up on time the day of install and went to work right away. The crew was outstanding, they worked from 8am - 9pm and it don't think the ever took a break. The installation was pristine, the team made sure they did everything right, there were no short cuts, they sealed every connection, cleaned up everything, checked everything, this was a quality installation. After it was installed we walked through the thermostat, the furnace/blower configuration, and everything that was done. Can't say enough about what a great job the install team did. I'm very picky when I have work done, these guys value the quality of their work, it was evident they care, a rare find in todays market. Without hesitation, would use this team again.

They returned my call promptly, and showed up when they said they would. They even gave me a courtesy call 30 minutes ahead of time in order to let me know they were on their way. One of my AC units had been making noises (both inside and outside). Comfort Masters quickly diagnosed and resolved the problem. The technician was very friendly, and offered advice in order to increase the useful life of my AC units. Their prompt, friendly, and cost effective service will ensure that I will remain a customer going forward.

Stephen was my second of three bids. One company tried to get me to replace the furnace as well but it was working fine. He came quickly and gave me a bid, with options, via email within hours. He answered all my questions. His price was the same as another company but a better brand and the only one to offer a 10 yr warranty. He worked quickly and cleanly. It is running perfectly and I feel great about having a 10 yr warranty. This is a second home. Although I hope to not have to replace the 2 units in my family residence any time soon, I would call Stephen again if either of them need repair or replacement.

James arrived an hour early (calling beforehand to make sure this was okay), on the same day I called for service. He was friendly, professional, and put up with my dog jumping on him. He looked at the unit and diagnosed it, and gave me several options regarding repair. Although it looks like we will need a new A/C unit in the next year, he explained what could be done immediately and what the long-term options are. He clearly explained the options for replacement, noting that R-22 systems are no longer being installed and suggesting several things to look for when researching replacements. The whole process took under an hour, and James was great throughout, no pressure tactics at all. I will definitely call this company when we get bids to replace the unit.

Steve, who is also the owner of Comfort Masters Heating & AC, arrived at my home only 2 1/2 hrs after my initial phone contact. That prompt service was very important to me as I had been without AC for 14 hours. I was impressed with his professionalism & courteous behavior upon greeting him at the door. He even removed his shoes! After he inspected the AC condensor on the outside of the house, he showed me both issues that caused my problem, a faulty capacitor & also grass & dirt buildup on the filter. He gave me a quote for the part & service, which in my opinion, was a reasonable price. He gave me a 15% discount for using Angie's List. I was very pleased with how quickly (yet very thorough) he replaced the capacitor & cleaned the debris from the filter. I was very concerned that the compressor would need to be replaced or even more that the whole system might be at fault. Needless to say, I totally trust Comfort Masters & will continue to use this company for future AC & Heating maintenance & repairs.

Very pleased with the service. The day before he came out, my outside unit started making a banging sound. I did not have this problem when I first scheduled the Big Deal service appointment, so when I called to tell them this had started they said they would determine if that problem would need a follow up appointment separate from the Big Deal. The technician not only did the preventative maintenance per the Big Deal, but saw a wire shorting out which caused the banging problem and replaced it right then. That solved the problem. I was very grateful and impressed that he did not make me schedule another service call. I really appreciated that he went the extra mile. My unit has been working great ever since.

Wonderful company! Wonderful service! Our A/C unit quit cooling last week. Other companies we used previously (much larger companies) couldn't get to us for days. I left a message on Sunday evening and got a call back from the owner within an hour. Technician (James) was out on Monday afternoon. He diagnosed the problem, explained it thoroughly and gave us a temporary fix until the parts arrived. The owner and James actually arrived earlier than scheduled to replace the parts today. James kept me informed during the entire repair process. Highly recommend Comfort Masters!

Great experience, no problems! Originally purchased an AL deal for a tune-up, but knew the outside unit might need to be replaced due to its age of 15+ years. They were prompt, and even offered to come by closer to evening when I'd be there. After trying to locate a leak between the exterior and attic units, we decided it was best to replace the outside unit since it was one of the older, inefficient models that was close to death anyhow. They gave me a very reasonable estimate (I obtained 2 others to compare) and were able to order and install the new unit fairly quickly. The installation tech was really friendly, professional and gave me extra info on how to keep the system working better. Would definitely use them again!

Service man was fantastic. He checked the inside and outside unit and quickly knew what the problem was. He replaced a part and added Freon. The unit is still running great. You will not be disappointed to if he comes to repair your unit.

A/C wasn't cooling. They inspected and found the leak and now we're nice and cool!

The service was excellent. It was so good, they are the only ones I will contact from now on. He explained what he was going to do and how we could save money in the future rather than just do something and present us with a bill. That extra step made quite a lot of difference.

I bought their 49.00 AL coupon and they came out and checked all 3 of my units. 2 of the units weren't working and I knew that prior to their arrival. They came out the day after I called them. They gave me an estimate to replace the 2 1 1/2 ton units. I got 2 more estimates because of the costs involved. All 3 said the same thing except for the prices, brands and warranties. Although, they were not the cheapest of the 3, they were close to the lowest and up to that point, the ones my gut trusted most. I was so right. Everything I wanted, they did without me having to ask. They showed up when they said they would, they called the day before and said when they would be there, the workers were polite and respectful, they laid down covers on the flooring, they vacuumed up any insulation and other dirt they may have escaped the covers, they were done early, the price was exactly the amount they said it would be, they gave me all the paperwork and showed me how to work the new thermostats. Additionally, James checked the cost of air filters at a couple of companies so I would get a decent price on them- my house vents are not standard sizes. He set the clock on the thermostats for me and they even changed the light bulb in the attic because they had one in the truck. I have put their contact info in my book because I will definitely call them again.

My only regret is that I cannot remember the service person (young man) name because he truly deserves to be recognized. He arrived on time, clean, respectful of our home, courteous and polite at all times. I loved the fact that his first order of business was to confirm our request and listen to our concerns while inviting and encouraging questions and conversation. Never did he recommend, suggest, pitch nor try to sell any service or parts until his full inspection and evaluation were complete. Then he explained and showed the damaged part, replaced and charged only for the needed part while making sure we understood how and what may cause this action, our warranty on his service and this part. Added helpful hints on maintaining a good operating system and what to be aware of in the future. Lastly, he cleaned up the unit, his mess and mine then waited for our complete confirmation on a job well done. I'm a 30 year retired Marine Sergeant Major, with both peace and combat experience dealing with young men and women. This was indeed a rare but welcome experience with a true professional, duty expert. They performed the work they were hired to do, they did it well, and the best part (in my mind) is that they didn't try to sell me on anything that wasn't needed. I'm very happy.

The service tech first went into the attic to check the flows, temperatures and measured the electrical systems for the Central Air unit. I had a new filter and he changed it out for me also. Next, he went to the outside unit and cleaned the coils, checked the operation of the compressor and fan.
