I bought a home and the roof needed to be replaced before the deal was closed. He used a different material on the cap than on the rest of the roof against my wishes. Now the materials don't match. They are not what I chose to have the roofers use. There was supposed to be a lifetime warantee on the materials that I selected. The materials he used did not come with a lifetime warantee according to the manufacturer. They refuse to return my calls and correct this problem. When we last talked he said he doesn't work for me, he worked for the previous owner. However, that was who I had purchased the home from so in a way I did pay him to do work for me prior to the deal closing.
