Although it took weeks to get the repair person to come & I had to call several times to confirm time, appointment was delayed & moved twice. The work was efficient & in half an hour Andres was done. Only concern was, no price was ever given until I got the bill by email. I asked lady on the phone & Andres but both denied knowing how much it will cost. That they will call back but never did. Price of job should be available & be given prior to the work done so no worrying & payment is fixed after the discount given through Angie’s list was deducted from the Company’s pricing.

Hailstorms have put me together with Clear Choice Roofing on two occasions this past decade. Other than the hassle that comes with replacing a roof, the experience with Clear Choice was first rate both times. After recent storms I contacted Clear Choice for an inspection. Mitch came out and declared me "good to go", but while he was here he reinforced some vulnerable areas with additional caulk just to give me an extra measure of protection. Since I was a two time customer, he waived all fees and charges. That's the way a good customer should be treated, so hats off to Mitch and Clear Choice Roofing.

We highly recommend Clear Choice roofing. Mitch called and gave us a window of time he would be here to meet with us. He was prompt. We didn't have to wait all day. He was friendly and professional. He quoted us a fair price and Did exactly what He said He would do in a timely matter. He came back when the inspector came and answered any questions the inspector asked about the damage. He took pictures of the damage to show us and the inspector. Every thing was cleaned up when he was finished. He did a good job and we were very pleased.

I called Clear Choice to replace shingles that had been blown off the roof. They responded to my call immediately and set up an appointment within days. Mitch came out, identified the problem and was very professional in the way he handled the entire project. Will definitely be calling again if I have roofing issues.

I ask that you, Clear Choice, please do not respond to this review with false concern, and pretend that you actually care about my experience with your organization and said services performed. If you truly did care, Gavin or someone from the Clear Choice management would have returned a phone call to one of the three VM's I left over the past month. To offer others within the Angie's List community more context as to why Clear Choice is earning an 'F' across the board, I'll do my best to highlight my experience. Clear Choice replaced my roof about 5 years ago, so it seemed logical for me to have them come look at a leak I had around the boot for an exhaust pipe for one of my gas hot water heaters. I called the main office and they offered me an appointment on Monday, 12/31. The repairman (Mitch) simply no-showed, and I received no notification of any kind from the office that he wasn’t coming. It wasn’t that big of a deal considering it was during the holidays and New Year’s Eve. I called back on Weds, 1/2 to let the office know I still needed someone to come out and look at my roof, to which they stated they'd contact the tech and he'd be in contact with me. Mitch contacted me Friday morning (1/4) stating that he could stop by my house later that afternoon. He arrived right around 3PM and I showed him within my garage area where the leak was coming from. He then proceeded to grab his ladder to get a look from the roof. Approximately 10-15 minutes later he knocks on my door and simply says "all set....$150". Clear Choice offers a free, no obligation quote. Why wasn’t I offered one before any work was done? This was MAYBE a 1/2 hour total onsite time and I inquired as to what work he actually performed. Mitch stated that he put beads of caulk around two areas for each of the pipe boots. I asked him to explain the $150 cost to me in from a time-and-materials perspective which he failed to do making reference to minimum services fees/visits and something else he mumbled. So I again challenged him on this asking how (4) beads of caulk around a 3-4 inch diameter pipe and a half hour of total onsite time equals $150. No response. At that point I simply wanted him gone, so I started to write out the check and asked Mitch who I should make the check out to. Mitch responded stating that I could leave it blank. Seriously? Are you kidding me? I wrote the check out to Clear Choice, asked him to have his management contact me, and sent him on his way. Following Mitch's departure, I immediately contacted the main office, spoke with a woman, and asked about their process. She informed me that they offer free, no obligation quotes and the woman stated that no work should have been done without my prior knowledge and consent of what work was actually going to be performed along with its cost. The woman I spoke with stated that she'd have management contact me (first message, Jan. 4). NO RESPONSE. I called again on 1/25/19, spoke with a gentleman who said he would have the owner (Gavin) speak with Mitch and then follow-up with me. NO RESPONSE. I called a 3rd time on 1/30/19, spoke with a gentleman and left a message with reference to my two prior messages, and asked for Gavin to call me back. NO RESPONSE. Best part of this whole experience is that I have no idea if the actual work performed truly fixed the issue, so I'm waiting for a heavy rain to test. This company is NOT the clear choice.

I researched well over 30 companies. These guys have a track record of reputable and quality service, and my experience backs up what I saw online. I received a return call within minutes. They coordinated a time that absolutely catered to my schedule and were on my roof in less than 48hrs. Not only that, they were very honest in their assessment and took care of my very small job just like it was a big ticket job. I'll be calling these folks first if I ever need my roof replaced and will gladly pass along their info if I hear of anyone looking for a roofer. Thank you so much!

Had a bit of a late start the week they came to do the work because of rain. They did a great job of replacing the shingles and the gutters. They were extremely neat and tidy and picked up everything. Alan was great and was always professional and prompt to answer my questions and to follow up with me as to the status of the work being done. I highly recommend Clear Choice and will definitely use them again!

Alan with Clear Choice Roofing did an excellent job in servicing my rental home. Alan called before traveling to the house to confirm the address and scope of work to be performed. Alan called me to confirm his arrival and the location of the shingles that needed to be replaced and to review the scope of work once again. Alan also notified me that the steep pitch of the roofing system necessitated an increase in the cost, which I was made aware of in their offering. Alan called me upon completion of the repairs, sealing of the exposed nail heads and plumbing vents and gave me the results of the roofing inspection. Alan said everything on the roof looked good and the roof looked relatively new, which it was at 5 years of age. I appreciated Alan's upfront communication and his honesty. Alan and Clear Choice Roofing did a great job and will be emailing me a report for the file as the wife and I may relocated to Colorado since our McKinney residence burned in July. Everything went well even though there were some delays in getting the roof replaced because of the rain. Allen was great, he was always prompt in responding to my questions no matter what time of the day and addressed all my concerns. Best of all Clear Choice upgraded my roof to Class 4 shingles without additional cost to me.

Alan Hizar did a fantastic job with the work I requested and didn't charge any extra to replace a shingle due to my membership. He was very knowledgeable, answered all of my questions regarding roof care and maintenance, and even made a few suggestions regarding the wood siding, gutters, and metal ventilation sheath on the underside of the roof overhang. Based on my experience with Alan, I would highly recommend this company for any storm-maintenance needs.

Allen from Clear Choice Roofing went right to work and found the problem. He removed a nail from our roof and sealed the hole. It was a quick and easy fix. We really appreciated Allen because he was respectful and thorough. Most roofing companies would not give us the time of day because our problem was so small. One roofer told us to call back when we had a whole roof that needed repair. I would absolutely us Clear Choice Roofing again and I would ask for Allen. Thank you for your great work!

I recall sending you a email estimate for repairs 5 months ago, as well as advising you that no other storm damage was found. I was on time within my 2 hr window and professional in my appearance along with delivery of your estimate. The low grades you have decided to post leave me baffled. Im sorry if you feel you received no quality or value in my service,but I approach all customers alike. With that same approach I have achieved the highest reviews across the board. I do understand there is 8400 roofers around our area,some can be found unregistered and uninsured. We carry a full office staff and full coverage insurance. These protected measures and customer service work force are in place to guarantee you receive only the best service in our industry. I do understand a cheap roofer can be found at the local home depot parking lot or on craigs list, However, I don't believe most of the public would want the service these "companies" expedite. To give the opportunity to highlight the difference, or to compare apples to apples, we have in bold red lettering at the top of the contract "we will beat any competitors price" This tool is in place for you, the consumer. If you choose not to utilize this tool,we have no way of knowing that you are not engaged as you should be. We may not eliminate insurance,safety or staff to lower your cost,but we will always reevaluate a estimate to make sure we give you the best service at the lowest out of pocket expense without sacrificing quality. I got a new roof and after a year, the paint they put on the flashing is peeling. I called and asked what they were going to do about it, and they said they could come out, but it would cost me. After replying on a Facebook post that i was unhappy, i was told that I was given the paint for free and they wouldn't do anything about it. We discussed the color paint we wanted the flashing painted, so I'd assumed the painting of the flashing was included in the price! Would a roofing company replace flashing and not paint it? Regardless, they lied and said that they told me they would repaint as a courtesy, which wasn't true and then proceeded to tell me that I was asking for something for free, I was selfish, I was thick headed, preposterous, absurd, that i was trying to steal from them and much more. Gavin went ahead and said I was attacking his children's livelihood. He was very unprofessional, and never tried to correct the problem, only said that I was lying and said they never offered to repaint as a courtesy. Had they offered to fix the problem, I wouldn't be unhappy.
