The job was a 3 phase job. 1. Interior painting, ceiling and walls. 2. Exterior painting. 3. Interior Trim and door painting. The contractor first purchased the paint without asking what sheen which happened to be wrong. I asked him to paint the ceiling White and the walls Decorators White (two different colors). He proceeds to paint the whole house White, and then argues with me about the instructions. The contractor was unprofessional when I brought it to his attention, with verbal insults and walking off the job. He never offered any solution to fix the job. He just left. I went ahead an paid him for phase 1, but I will have to hire another professional painter to finish phase 2 and 3 of the job. Overall this painter didn't follow my wishes and walked out on a large painting job. His loss.
