She is better now, but she got better on her own. They couldn't figure out what the problem was, but as far as a vet she is very professional. The wait wasn't long at all, it was good. They were able to see her right away. I have been happy with them.

It's really a veterinary place but they call it a hospital.

They are awesome. If I come late in the day with a sick dog they will wait. They have been my vet for, maybe, five years. I had to put my dog down. Both of the vets were in the room with me, explained what was going on, told me she was gone and then sent me a sympathy card. I thought that was kind of above and beyond. They certainly did not have to do that. Maybe all vets do, I don't know. They were very helpful and compassionate people. They do what they can. I think they do their very best, but sometimes their punctuality is a B.

I absolutely love this veterinarian. They balance quality of care with basic reality regarding your pet. They will go the extra mile for you if your pet is your child, but they also understand that not everyone has an unlimited cash flow to perform every exotic veterinary procedure. Dr Johnston is wonderful, and very in tune with your pet, and your lifestyle. When one of my foster dogs was having trouble coming out of anesthesia and Dr Johnston was concerned about him, Dr Johnston offered to take him home for the night to keep a closer watch over him. This is the and quot;extra mileand quot; this vet will go to for a regular customer. I wouldn't take my personal pets anywhere else.

Everyone is polite and they are great with the animals. I haven't had any trouble. They let you know the cost upfront, so it makes it a lot easier when you go. I am sure their prices are average.

My cat was ill and required surgery. After the surgery, he needed 24-hour supervision by someone with medical training, so both of the Dr. Johnston's took my cat home with them every night for the 1.5 weeks that my cat was in their care. That included the weekends. They cared enough about my cat that they literally brought their work home with them! Everything was a success and my cat is happy and healthy now. Overall, the $1100 cost wasn't that expensive when you consider that included the emergency surgery and 24-hour personal care and boarding for a week and a half. I can't praise these guys enough! They are wonderful.

No diagnosis was made following the blood screen and exam. No follow-up was suggested by the vet for further evaluation as to the issue.
We consulted another vet who had come highly recommended. An x-ray was made and the diagnosis was immediately made of hip dysplasia. The x-ray clearly showed the problem and Chisholm Ridge never suggested taking one. We won't be returning there again. We had been going there for two years for routine care. Although the people there are very friendly and nice and the rates seem fair, it's essential to find out something as easy as this to diagnose. I'm amazed that they did a blood test first as opposed to an x-ray!

The docs are very accessible, will try to opt for the least invasive or expensive treatment if possible, unless we want otherwise. They were immensely dedicated when my puppy was accidentally poisoned by a houseguest's prescription med. He lost the ability to walk one morning, I called them, they said bring him NOW. They tested and hooked up fluids and then we had to take him to an emergency vet hospital since it was a Saturday. I know they spent about an hour on the phone with ASPCA poison control figuring out the situation. I have referred my neighbors and several friends to their care.

They are good. They had a nice boarding facility. I happened to get a neighbor to watch my cat; that's the only reason I didn't use them. They are very caring and very professional. Their prices are very good. When I find a vet, I want one that gets to know the animal. I want them to have a decent table-side manner and they do. If I was going to leave my cat for ten days, I wanted to make sure they cared about her, that she wasn't just money that was going to be paid. They get personal and they take the time and don't rush through the appointment. Punctuality was good; I wasn't delayed any time at all. They were very professional; it's what I would want in a vet. I will definitely go back and I'm going to take my dog.

Quite well. I was fully informed. They called during the procedure to inform me they'd found a second tooth that needed to come out. Then, they called again after the cat was awake and alert. I just came home from the follow-up visit to have her checked and they were super quick about that. I am really happy with the care, friendliness, attitude, punctuality of the place.
