I've been using Captain Ron's Lawns for a couple years. They've done an excellent job taking care of my yard and are attentive to my requests, whether it be for the grass, weeds, or shrubs. Would highly recommend.

They did an excellent job - very fast, very good. They are not the cheapest on the block but they are super super responsive and do an awesome job.

I've been very happy with Captain Ron's all these years.
I first started using him when my son got his first job and didn't have time to mow.
The Texas heat is just too much for me to endure much work outside, so I call Ron.
Their crews are very professional.
One day I was working from home and I could see them work in the front yard. They ran over a piece of pager sending and quot;confettiand quot; all over the yard. When the crew member finished mowing he meticulously picked up every bit of torn paper.
The only negative I can mention is that several years ago, I had them take on my lawn fertilization and weed control. (Previously I had Tru-Green but I thought they were too expensive.) I didn't think they were doing as good a job controlling the weeds as Tru-Green was, so I went back to Tru-Green.
I would definitely recommend Ron and his crews for your lawn care.

I have consulted with Ron on several projects at my house including tree trimming, French drain, stone edging for flower beds and a gravel pathway.
His company provides my weekly lawn mowing and edging and I have never had any problems. They are prompt, dependable and courteous.

He has been doing a really good job. He is very nice and he does exactly what you want him to do. The prices are very reasonable for what he does.

I have been very pleased with their service. They are very responsive and return calls. The owners are very friendly.

I hate to give anyone a bad review, however I phoned this company requesting a quote; spoke with them a couple of different times; they actually called to be sure I was going to be home as they planned on coming that day. I was not keeping a 'written' record of the days/calls, but I know there was at least 3 calls back and forth over a week's time. Although they were very responsive, pleasant on the phone, it just didn't work out. I'm not sure exactly where the 'ball' was dropped, but I never heard back from them after the call saying they were coming out.

I have been using Captain Ron's for 10 years or more. First used them not long after moving into my house to have all my hedges trimmed.
Have had them come out for weekly lawn mowing, edging now for about 3 years. Ron and Debbie are wonderful to work with, always return emails. Address any issues immediately.
Last year I had them mulch and weed my flower beds, look beautiful
I had a water drainage problem between my house and the neighbors (mud when it rains, neighbors don't have gutters), they put in a very nice rock area to take care of thiss
When we had those big ice storms the big tree in my yard got damaged from the weight of the ice, they came out and cut out the damaged area and took the time to make the tree look as normal as possible.
Every year I have them trim my hedges, red tips and what not, always prompt and reasonable,
I will always use Captain Ron's as long as I am here

He was really wonderful. He did a great job in my neighborhood. He is a very nice guy. I needed some trees cut down and brush removed.

Captain Ron's Lawns and Landscaping usually comes over twice a year to my house. He is easy to work with. He is very responsive. If you have a situation that he can't handle, he will recommend someone who can handle that situation and he is very good in that regard. Last spring we wanted Bradford pear removed as it had gotten to tall for the area in which it was planted. Captain Ron actually did recommend a tree service that could come out and cut the tree down and ground the roots. In both instances that he has recommended somebody else, it has worked out well. I have been very pleased with Ron and his worker. They do a very good job and clean up after themselves. They always take away the branches they trim. I would use his service in the future.

My dad and mother-in-law use Captain Ron on a weekly basis and they are satisfied. We normally do our own lawn care, however we were going to be out of town for 3-4 weeks and needed temporary care. Captain Ron did our lawn during that period and did a great job. They are dependable and reliable.

Ron did a major landscaping improvement project for our HOA that included work at about 75 houses. My husband managed the project and his experience with Ron was very positive. The work he did at our home is detailed above, but it siginificantly improved the curb appeal of our home. We will definately use him in the future for projects.

It was good. They were punctual and the lawn always looked great.

They always let me know they were here before they started. They called ahead to let me know to close my puppy door so my dogs wouldn't get out. They cleaned up after themselves and they are extremely nice.

Never came by and never called me back. Promised to look at my house and provide an estimate of work within 24 hours. It has been 72 hours before I made this report to Angie's List and I am still waiting. Meanwhile, my lawn is overgrown and I had to contract with another company which provided me with same day service and an immediate appointment that same day.

Very friendly, very courteous, reputable. I just think the guys that work for him are very nice.
